1.

ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN HEAT 1 395M

MAN OF LEISURE was best to begin with MINNIE BLUE slow.  In the 1st turn SIN CITY KITTY was tightened for racing room checking MINNIE BLUE causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the back straight SUPER CESC was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the back straight TREVOR TRICEPS and FORGOT MY MOUSE bumped on numerous occasions causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight SIN CITY KITTY ran wide.  Entering the home straight TREVOR TRICEPS and SUPER CESC bumped.

 

The greyhound MINNIE BLUE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SIN CITY KITTY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 2 395M

Even start.  Shortly after the start FLYING COMET, BLAZIN’ BLUE, BARRY BICEPS and FROSTY SKY collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the back straight FROSTY SKY was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight SAMBUCCA HAYZE shifted in and collided with the running rail causing this greyhound to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight BARRY BICEPS clipped heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound FROSTY SKY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SAMBUCCA HAYZE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB NOVICE 395M

KIM OSTI was best to begin.  In the 1st turn KULU ZIPSTER was tightened for racing room with FARMOR IN TUNE checked causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the back straight JUST LIKE YAZZA clipped heels and lost ground.  At the same time MAY ROAD and KULU ZIPSTER collided causing KULU ZIPSTER to lose ground.  Leaving the turn out of the back straight FARMOR IN TUNE clipped heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound FARMOR IN TUNE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound KULU ZIPSTER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5th GRADE HEAT 1 395M

MASTER DEAN and DAVID’S MEMORY were best to begin.  In the 1st turn ME MATE MOUSE got onto the hindquarters of DAVID’S MEMORY causing DAVID’S MEMORY to lose ground and give no further competitive part in the race.  In the back straight EGYPTIAN MISS shifted out colliding with all greyhounds except STAR RING and MASTER DEAN resulting in MR. BANKS and OWN GOAL to lose significant ground and all other greyhounds to lose ground.

 

The greyhound OWN GOAL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MR. BANKS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound DAVID’S MEMORY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 3 months.

Even start.  Shortly after the start ZOU BISOU BISOU and BRIGHT SATELLITE bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Entering the back straight ZOU BISOU BISOU and ANOTHER RED collided causing ANOTHER RED to fall and give no further competitive part in the race.

 

The greyhound ANOTHER RED underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

WITCOTT HOTEL 4th GRADE 395M

Even start.  Approaching the 1st turn COMETRON FLYER, IRON MONARCH and PAN YOKO all raced tight causing PAN YOKO and IRON MONARCH to lose ground.  Entering the back straight IRON MONARCH got onto the hindquarters of PAN YOKO causing both greyhounds to lose significant ground.  Leaving the back straight RAMBLIN’ ROSE and COMETRON FLYER collided causing RAMBLIN’ ROSE to lose ground.  As a result OPPORTUNE KNOCKA was checked causing this greyhound to lose ground.

 

The greyhound IRON MONARCH underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start with ROCKIN’ ALL OVER marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn on the 1st occasion ROCKIN’ ALL OVER and AFTER GLOW bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight I’M GLAD and BETTA BE RIGHT bumped on numerous occasions causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

STANKY LEGS and JIGGLE SPLAT were best to begin.  Shortly after the start UNIQUE KALEESI and LOUIE THE FLYER collided causing LOUIE THE FLYER to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight UNIQUE KALEESI and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the home straight STANKY LEG and JIGGLE SPLAT bumped on numerous occasions.  In the front straight SENNI LUCILLE was wide.

THE MANLY HOTEL 5th GRADE HEAT 4 395M

ROCKABILLY OSTI was best to begin.  In the 1st turn ARMAGEDDON NOW, RUNAWAY KITTY and QUICK AND LIVELY all raced tight causing ARMAGEDDON NOW and RUNAWAY KITTY to lose ground.  Entering the back straight SHOW EKIM and INTERACTION collided causing SHOW BEKIM to lose ground.

 

The greyhound Armageddon now underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
