KULU TUPPENCE collided. In the home

RACING BRISBANE CUP HEAT 1 520M ALPHA AION was best to begin with SHOT CLOCK slowly
away. Entering the turn out of the
home straight WATCH THE WASP and OUTSIDE PASS collided causing WATCH THE WASP
to shift out checking SUPER SOOK. On
the turn out of the home straight SHOT CLOCK checked off the heels of OUTSIDE
PASS causing SHOT CLOCK to race wide.
Entering the back straight RATHER DAPPER raced wide and eased and took
no further part in the event. Entering
the turn out of the back straight OUTSIDE PASS checked off the heels of SUPER
SOOK with SHOT CLOCK eased and taking not further part in the event. The greyhound OUTSIDE PASS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound RATHER DAPPER underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hock and was humanely euthanised. The greyhound SHOT CLOCK underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the back
and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

ROAD was wide. In the home straight
SPORTFAN turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with SMASHNIAK
OPAL. The greyhound RED VEE underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Burman that the greyhound
would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus
a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |
