WESTERN HONEY was best to begin. Shortly after the start CAPTAIN LOUIE, RALLY DRYVA and OWN GOAL raced tight, causing all greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the turn into the back straight, JOHN SAID THIS clipped heels and shifted out checking OWN GOAL, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the back straight CAPTAIN LOUIE clipped the heels of JOHN SAID THIS, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight JOHN SAID THIS clipped heels and lost ground. In the front straight REGAL TRAV was wide.

Even start with COOL VANE marginally slow. Shortly after the start PRATER’S PROMISE, ANGELIC MISS and BOGAN FLYER collided, causing BOGAN FLYER and ANGELIC MISS to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight, BOGAN FLYER clipped the heels of PRATER’S PROMISE causing BOGAN FLYER to lose ground.

The greyhound COOL VANE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near wrist as was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Rounding the turn out of the front straight, on the first occasion, SHADOW EDGE and HERACLES bumped. Rounding the turn into the back straight, HARA’S SAM and EMMA’S MAGIC collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

The greyhound HARA’S SAM underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

POWER OF PENNY was best to begin with REGAL CYNDIE marginally slow. Approaching the 1^st turn, DONNY’S BEACH was tightened for race room and lost ground. Around the 1^st turn, REGAL CYNDIE and GRAND ANGEL bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

The greyhound DONNY’S BEACH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

7.	SKY RACING 5^TH GRADE HEAT 2 520M IZZY GOLD was best to begin. Shortly after the start, IZZY GOLD and IRON MONARCH bumped. Rounding the 1^st turn, BOGAN LEGEND and KULU HIPSTER bumped. Entering the back straight, BOGAN LEGEND and KULU HIPSTER bumped, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. In the back straight GUNNA WINK and BARBARA BENZ collided, causing GUNNA WINK to be hampered. Leaving the back straight, GUNNA WINK and IZY GOLD collided causing GUNNA WINK to lose ground. Entering the front straight, IZY GOLD clipped heels, fell and gave no further competitive part in the race. The greyhound IZY GOLD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near fore toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days

Approaching the 1^st turn DAZE LIKE THESE, MORAYFIELD SWIFT, CYCLONE BARCI and MY GLORIOUS GIRL all collided causing all greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the turn out of the front straight, on the first occasion, MORAYFIELD SWIFT turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with CYCLONE BARCI. Stewards advised representative of the trainer, Ms K Kleinhans, that the greyhound MORAYFIELD SWIFT would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 3^rd offence, 1 year and satisfactory stewards’ trial at a distance of 520m, Albion Park track.

Even start. Approaching the 1^st turn all greyhounds collided and lost ground at differing degrees. In the back straight, INTERACTION clipped the heels of CELESTIAL SELENE, causing INTERACTION to become unbalanced and lose ground, with SHORT SESSION bein checked as a result. Rounding the turn into the home straight, CELESTIAL SELENE and PINK SUNSET commenced to give ground in open running. In the front straight LARRIKAN LASS and BEST STRATEGY were wide.

The greyhound CELESTIAL SELENE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock as was stood down for a period of 3 months.

The greyhound PINK SUNSET underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin as was stood down for a period of 10 days.

The greyhound SHORT SESSION underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Stewards advised trainer, Mrs L Williams, that the greyhound PINK SUNSET would be charged under Rule 69 (b) failing to pursue with injury, 10 days and satisfactory stewards’ trial over a distance of 395m Albion Park track.

Leaving the back straight, GRAND ROSIE clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground. In the front straight, GRAND ROSIE ran wide.
