WESTMEAD COMET was best to begin.  In the back straight, FLYING COMET and HOOT collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, WESTMEAD COMET and FIRE FLY RODGER bumped.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN  - 331M

TOP VILLA and BARB’S KUGA were best to begin, with MAGIC CODE marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, MAGIC CODE and OUTBACK CUPCAKE bumped, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the back straight, BARB’S KUGA shifted out colliding with DO YOU REMEMBER, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, BARB’S KUGA and DO YOU REMEMBER bumped.

 

The greyhound OUTBACK CUPCAKE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start, with ORION GIRL marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, HAIGHT ASHBURY and BONNIE DOON BLAZE raced tight, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the home straight, ORANGE OAK ROAD clipped heels and was hampered.  In the home straight, TIGHT CIRCLE and HAIGHT ASHBURY bumped.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE - 331M

TESS THE BEST was best to begin, with SHOW LEE DOLLARS marginally slow.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight, FAKE NEWS clipped heels and was hampered.  At the same time, ZABDON VEYRON and SHOW LEE DOLLARS raced tight.

 

The greyhound SHOW LEE DOLLARS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off fore toe and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

INSIDE RACING was best to begin, with COUNTRY CRACKER marginally slow.  Leaving the back straight, PRINCESS LIGHT shifted out colliding with COUNTRY CRACKER, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound I’M A LADY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

WITHCOTT HOTEL BEST 8 -  331M

Even start.  Shortly after the start, MAD THE QUICK was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the 1st turn, GRAND ROSIE and OUTBACK STORM collided, causing OUTBACK STORM to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, ELLY BYE BYE, REGAL TRAV and EVIE’S ANGEL collided, causing EVIE’S ANGEL to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight, REGAL TRAV and BUDDY TOKAAM collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound OUTBACK STORM underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off near fore foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound MAC THE QUICK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Even start.  Rounding the 1st turn, all greyhounds raced tight, causing CRAZY EMJAY and HA HA CLASSY to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, PANTERA NEGRA was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  At the same time, CRAZY EMJAY clipped heels and lost ground.  In the front straight, LIL MISS PINKY raced wide.

 

The greyhound SWINGIN’ NANNY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

BOX 1 PHOTGRAPHY MIXED 3/4 - 395M

ARABELLA EMJAY was best to begin.  In the 1st turn, PINK IMPACT, TRY COMB and JOHN SAID THIS raced tight, causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the back straight, PINK IMPACT clipped heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, PINK IMPACT and CUTE GAMBLER collide, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the front straight, CUTE GAMBLER and PINK IMPACT bumped.

BRISGREYS.COM 5TH GRADE -  395M

Before the running of Race 9, licensed trainer, Mr Warren Nicholls, made stewards’ aware that he found an extra muzzle in his kennel that did not belong to him.  All security protocols were followed and the stewards’ gave Mr Nicholls the opportunity to scratch his greyhound, which he declined. 

 

Even start.  In the 1st turn, HARA’S HOTTIE, REACTOR and NIVEK RETSERROF raced tight, causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight, HARA’S HOTTIE and NIVEK RETSERROF bumped.

FABERGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE (1) – 331M

FABTHOR was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, PAWFECTION was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, PAWFECTION shifted out and checked TOEY GAMBLER, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Even start.  Shortly after the start, HE’S ROWDY and REPTAR raced tight, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, BLUE NOT BLACK and HE’S ROWDY collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Approaching the finishing line, RUN KAY RUN and ULLO BELLS bumped.

 

The greyhound BLUE NOT BLACK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Even start, with TIARA GLOW and CLASSIC CHA CHA marginally slow, with ROYAL ALBERT slow.  Shortly after the start, OKA’S ANGEL and WESTMEAD DAFFIE were tightened for racing room, causing OKA’S ANGEL to be hampered and WESTMEAD DAFFIE to lose ground.

 

The greyhound WESTMEAD DAFFIE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
