ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN (1) – 395M

 

Even start, with PENUMBRA marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, HARA’S SURF and HAIGHT ASHBURY bumped. Entering the back straight, MAGIC SUMMER clipped heels and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, HAIGHT ASHBURY clipped heels and was hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, MAM SAID, BIG BANG TEXADA, MAGIC SUMMER and PENUMBRA collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight, BIG BANG TEXADA and MAGIC SUMMER clipped heels and both lost ground. Approaching the finishing line MAM SAID and PENUMBRA bumped.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN (2) – 395M

 

ALPHA STYX was best to begin with STEWY’S MAGIC marginally slow. Approaching the 1st turn, FLYWHEEL TOMMY and RAPID EFFECT collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the 1st turn, HARA’S HOGAN and AIDAN’S MAGIC raced tight, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Entering the back straight, RAPID EFFECT was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the back straight, STEWY’S MAGIC shifted out, colliding with FLYWHEEL TOMMY, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Even start.  In the 1st turn TOBACCO KING, ISADORA FROSTED, SO CRAZY and DAM THE MAN collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground at differing degrees.  Leaving the turn out of the back straight, TOBACCO KING, ISADORA FROSTED and DAM THE MAN collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE  – 395M

 

Even start, with NAN’S MAGIC marginally slow.  In the 1st turn all greyhounds, with the exception of MUSTANG TULLY, raced tight and lost ground at differing degrees. Entering the back straight, MAGIC CODE, TEJAY’S MAGIC and NAN’S MAGIC all raced tight, causing to lose ground at varying degrees. In the back straight, TEJAY’S MAGIC clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.

 

The greyhound CHUCKY THE CHAMP underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE (1) – 395M

 

ROSEALIE WHO was best to begin, with VAQUERO marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, MISS GAMBLER and BACK PAY collided, causing JIMMY STINTSON to be checked and all greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the front straight, HARA’S REBEL clipped heels, shifted out checking JIMMY STINTSON and both greyhounds lost ground.  In the back and front straight, VAQUERO raced wide.

THE MANLY HOTEL 5TH GRADE FINAL – 395M

 

Even start, with JEMMA’S MAGIC and SLEEK STYLE marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, MR. APOLLO was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Entering the back straight, BLUE TEXADA got onto the hind quarters of SUPER CESC, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Leaving the back straight, BLUE TEXADA was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

The greyhound BLUE TEXADA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE – 520M

 

SHE’S SOME GAL was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, YEAH OKAY and CRAZY BELLA were tightened for racing room and were hampered.  Approaching the 1st turn, MUMMA’S HOPE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the 1st turn, SILVER STUNNER, HAZE PURPLE and YEAH OKAY collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  Leaving the back straight, MISS AMELIA was tightened for racing room, causing MUMMA’S HOPE to be checked and both greyhounds to lose ground.

WITHCOTT HOTEL BEST 8 – 395M

 

GO LASSIE GO was best to begin. Leaving the 1st turn FOXY BE GOOD and COMETRON FLYER collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the back straight WHEELIE WHEELS and PLUM JAM raced tight causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight COMETRON FLYER clipped heels and lost ground.

 

 

 

The greyhound FOXY BE GOOD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start, with PETITE FAWN marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, EGYPTIAN MISS was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the back straight, BEST STRATEGY clipped heels and lost ground. 

 

The greyhound PETITE FAWN underwent 2 x veterinary examinations (Pre and Post Race) and no apparent injuries were found.

10.

FABERGAS @ STUD MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 395M

 

Race 10 was delayed for 2 minutes because of an interstate thoroughbred race.  Also at the conclusion of the race, Stewards’ declared KIM OSTI hard-to-box.

 

SHOW BEKIM was best to begin.  Entering the back straight, BILL’S SPECIAL, IRON MONARCH and TREAGLE TRIUMPH collided, causing BILL’S SPECIAL to lose ground.  Leaving the back straight, IRON MONARCH and TREAGLE TRIUMPH collided, causing both greyhounds to lose significant ground.

 

The greyhound IRON MONARCH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound TREAGLE TRIUMPH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound BILL’S SPECIAL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
