Race 1 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 395M

 

EMMAVILLE BELLA was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, TOOK A TICKET and SMASHNIAK GALAXY bumped.  Entering the back straight, ALWAYS ALBURY was tightened for racing room.  Entering the front straight, TOOK A TICKET raced wide.  Approaching the finishing line, SUMMER’S PICK and ALWAYS ALBURY collided. 

 

The greyhound TOOK A TICKET underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 395M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, NOIRE DREAM was tightened for racing room.  Entering the back straight, HOPE SAID and EXCLUSIVE CHLOE bumped.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, POPPYCOCK and TEJAY’S PRIDE collided.  In the front and back straight, DANILO raced wide.

 

The greyhound POPPYCOCK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MAIDEN HEAT 3 – 395M

 

EMMA SAID and DARBY’S GIRL were best to begin, with HARA’S DASH marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, SKYDIVER was tightened for racing room.  Entering the back straight, STEWY’S MAGIC clipped heels.  In the back straight, BLUE JAY JAY raced wide.  Leaving the back straight, SKYDIVER shifted out checking BLUE JAY JAY with both greyhounds racing wide.  In the front straight, DARBY’S GIRL raced wide. 

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 395M

 

SMASHNIAK DOUBLE was best to begin, with CYNDIE WHO marginally slow.  In the 1st turn WICKLA and NAN’S MAGIC bumped. 

 

Race 5 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE – 395M

 

Even start.  In the 1st turn, AIDAN’S MAGIC and SIENNA’S BOY raced tight.  In the back straight, SAID BILLY and BURRUM EAGLE collided.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SAID BILLY clipped heels, shifted out checking TIGHT CIRCLE, causing SAID BILLY to lose ground, and TIGHT CIRCLE to fall and give no further competitive part in the race.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, AIDAN’S MAGIC clipped heels checking SAID BILLY, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound TIGHT CIRCLE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 6 – THE MANLY HOTEL 5TH GRADE – 520M

 

RATAJKOWSKI was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, EBONY MIST was tightened for racing room.  Approaching the 1st turn, GYPSY’S WISH and TOOKA TRIP collided.  Entering the back straight, DARK TABOO clipped heels, shifted out checking EBONY MIST, causing EBONY MIST to lose ground.  Entering the front straight, TOOKA TRIP and GYPSY’S WISH collided. 

 

Race 7 – BOX1PHOTOGRAPHY.COM 4TH GRADE – 395M

 

Even start.  In the 1st turn, all greyhounds were tightened for racing room, resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered at differing degrees.  Entering the back straight, MAYWYN EMERALDS clipped heels, causing KATIE WHO and NAUGHTY MAX to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight, NAUGHTY MAX and KATIE WHO collided.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, MAYWYN EMERALDS hit the running rail and lost ground.

 

The greyhound MAYWYN EMERALDS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the stomach muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM BEST 8 – 395M

 

Even start.  In the 1st turn, WARRIOR ROSE and PLUM JAM bumped.  In the turn out of the back straight, I’M GLAD and BLACK PAWS collided.  At the same time, WARRIOR ROSE clipped heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, PLUM JAM and SHILOH RANCH collided. 

 

Race 9 – FABERGAS @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 395M

 

Even start.  Entering the back straight, BILLY WHO clipped heels.  Leaving the back straight, TOOK A SELFIE and RINDA DES bumped.  Entering the front straight, KIM OSTI and BILLY WHO bumped.  In the front straight, RINDA DES raced wide. 

 

Race 10 – UBET TAPPY 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 – 395M

 

TOP SCORE was best to begin.  In the front straight, TRAV SAID and TOP SCORE bumped.
