Race 1 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN – 520M

 

Best away was DAM SLIPPERY, with JARGON JIMMY slowly away.  In the turn out of the home straight, JARGON JIMMY checked off the heels of MY WINDSONG.

 

Connection of the greyhound DAM SLIPPERY, Mr B Hazelgrove, was questioned by stewards’ regarding the betting.  Mr Hazelgrove stated that he didn’t put anything on because the price had gone and the dog trialled publicly in the time that the race was run in, and he expected the greyhound to perform in that way. 

 

Connections of JARGON JIMMY were questioned by Stewards’ and they declared that they did not support the greyhound. 

 

The greyhound JARGON JIMMY underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB NOVICE – 520M

 

Best away was OBLIVINATOR, with SHAKEY TIMES and ON EL slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight, SHAKEY TIMES checked off the heels of ELUSIVE STAR.  Entering the back straight, ROMAN SILVER and ELUSIVE STAR collide, causing ROMAN SILVER to shift out checking ONE EL.  On the top turn, SHAKEY TIMES checked off the heels of ONE EL. 

 

The greyhound ROMAN SILVER underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MA5 – 395M

 

Even start, with BUTTON PUSHER and BATTY LOVES BEER slowly away.  In the back straight, MISS THICKSHAKE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, MAM’S MAGIC checked off the heels of LOGAN CITY.  In the home straight, ALOTA DAGZ and BATTY LOVES BEER was wide. 

 

The greyhound MISS THICKSHAKE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD BEST 8 – 395M

 

Best away was ZENYATTA MISS, with COMETRON FLYER and ROAD TO FLAME slowly away.  Entering the back straight, COMETRON FLYER checked off the heels of NEVER A DOUBT, causing COMETRON FLYER to drop back.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, NEVER A DOUBT checked off the heels of BLACK PAWS.  In the home straight, COMETRON FLYER was wide. 

 

Race 5 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE – 520M

 

Best away was STEALTH KARMAR and PETA GLEDHILL, with the rest evenly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, BUTTERFLY IS SHE and EBONY MIST collide.  Entering the turn into the back straight, HAY ROSALIE checked off the heels of REGAL TOPAZ.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, HAY ROSALIE and GET SHORTY collide. 

 

The greyhound STEALTH KARMAR underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – THE MANLY HOTEL 0-4 WINS – 600M

 

Even start, with RED HOT SPUR slowly away.  In the home straight on the 1st occasion, HARA’S DAZZA was wide.  In the back straight, SORRENTO was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, WAZZA QUEEN checked off the heels of ALLPA MAMA.  In the home straight, WAZZA QUEEN was wide. 

 

Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE FINAL – 520M

 

Best away was MAKO MAC, with SUPER CUP slowly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion, HAY HOPEY shifted out, checking SILVER STUNNER, who in turn checked SUPER CUP.  Entering the back straight, ANNIE’S MAGIC and GO RUBY GO collide.  In the home straight, ANNIE’S MAGIC was wide. 

 

Race 8 – FABERGAS @ STUD MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 520M

 

Best away was ARABIAN GO GO, with the rest evenly away.  Soon after the start, RULE THE ROAD shifted in checking DAHOMEY WINDSONG.  In the back straight, IZY GOLD was wide.  Entering the home straight, ARABIAN GO GO and DAHOMEY WINDSONG collide, with IZY GOLD wide in the home straight. 

 

The greyhound DAHOMEY WINDSONG underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SHOES TO FILL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 – UBET TAPPY MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Best away was WESTERN HONEY, with SPRITELY BILL slowly away.  Entering the turn into the back straight, IRON MONARCH and YOREMMUP collide.  Entering the home straight, IRON MONARCH and COOKIE NO CREAM collide. 

 

Race 10 – ADOPT A GREYHOUND 5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Best away was INDIVIDUAL RICHY, with CASH FUND and KINGSBRAE CAROL slowly away.  Entering the back straight, ROUGH ODDS and ANNIE SAID collide, causing ANNIE SAID to stumble, checking CASH FUND.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, ROUGH ODDS and ABSOLUTELY FAB collide.  In the home straight, GEORGIE MAC was wide.

 

The greyhound ANNIE SAID underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound CASH FUND underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near fore foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
