Race Reports

 

Race 1 – UBET TAPPY MDNPW – 331M

 

TADA was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, LAUGHING GEAR clipped heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, YORKLEA TOUCH clipped heels, shifted out and raced wide. 

 

Race 2 – ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN (1) – 331M

 

RAY’S REWARD and FAST JUDGEMENT were best to begin.  Shortly after the start, SMELL THE CHEESE got onto the hindquarters of BOSTON ANGEL, causing BOSTON ANGEL to lose ground, and SMELL THE CHEESE to fall and give no further competitive part in the race.  In the front straight, WHO WHAT WHERE and FAST JUDGEMENT collided on numerous occasions.

 

The greyhound BOSTON ANGEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 3 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (2) – 331M

 

FAIRY WREN was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, ELITE JAX was tightened for racing room, at the same time CROCODILE TEARS and ELUSIVE FANCY were tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight, BOSTON FLAME and ELUSIVE FANCY collided. 

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE – 331M

 

Even start, with CHARLIE’S BARBUN marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, LONG JOHN SILVER was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight, LONG JOHN SILVER hit the running rail and lost ground.  In the front straight, PENUMBRA raced wide. 

 

Race 5 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS MA5 (1) – 331M

 

NOT FAR ZUESS was best to begin.  Rounding the turn of the back straight, PINK SUNSET hit the running rail and lost ground.  In the front straight, WESTMEAD DAFFIE raced wide.

 

Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 331M

 

Even start.  Leaving the back straight, EBONY SANDS, SIGARLA and SHE’S THE ROAD collided, causing SHE’S THE ROAD to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound SHE’S THE ROD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

 

Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY BEST 8 – 331M

 

Even start, with FABLUOUS WALL coming up with the lids.  Shortly after the start, SHORT SESSION clipped heels, causing DATA BASE to fall and give no further competitive part in the race.  Leaving the back straight, SHORT SESSION clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, BLACK DRATTA and ONYA BENZ bumped.

 

The greyhound DATA BASE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM BEST 8 – 395M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, ZENYATTA MISS, EL NUNU, BLACK PAWS and EVIE’S ANGEL raced tight, causing EVIE’S ANGEL and BLACK PAWS to be hampered.  Leaving the back straight, NO CLYDE NEEDED and COMETRON FLYER collided.

 

Race 9 – FABERGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 395M

 

MISS BECKBOO and ABELE were best to begin.  In the 1st turn, IRON MONARCH was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Entering the back straight, ABELE clipped heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, MR. BELVEDERE and REGAL JADE bumped. 

 

Race 10 – THE MANLY HOTEL 5TH GRADE (1) – 331M

 

Even start, with TICTAC CLOUD turning in the boxes.  Entering the front straight, DI CANIO clipped heels and lost ground. 

 

The greyhound TICTAC CLOUD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Connection to the greyhound, TICTAC CLOUD, was advised that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance – Turned in Boxes, with the greyhound to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 331m prior to racing.

 

Race 11 – SKY RACING 5TH GRADE (2) – 331M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, ROCK THE ROAD and SWEET KAOS collided, causing ROCK THE ROAD to lose ground.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SWEET KAOS, GOLD GRACE and SHESA DRATTA collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground at differing degrees. 

 

Race 12 – BRISGREYS.COM MA5 (2) – 331M

 

HA HA CLASSY was best to begin, with CLASSIC CHA CHA marginally slow.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, WARPIG and BARBARA BENZ bumped on numerous occasions.  In the front straight, CLASSIC CHA CHA raced wide. 

 

The greyhound TRIP TO VEGAS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
