Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN 520m

1 Arty Barty – bumped by an outside runner at the start. Bumped with another runner when entering the turn out of the front straight.

 

2 Rough Nut – shifted inwards on jumping away and bumped with an inside runner. Bumped with another runner when entering the turn out of the front straight. Tightened for room when rounding the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered.

 

3 She's Snowy – contacted on the heels by another runner when rounding the turn out of the front straight before being heavily contacted by that runner shortly after and subsequently losing ground. Checked off heels when entering the back straight. Shifted outwards and bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.

 

4 Hara's Fern – Blundered at the start and was subsequently slow to begin.

 

6 Irinka Lesa – displaced its muzzle in the boxes prior to the start being affected. Shifted inwards across heels when approaching the turn out of the front straight then became momentarily unbalanced before shifting outwards and colliding with another runner.

 

7 Prince Cosmic – slow to begin. Improved onto the hindquarters of another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and was subsequently momentarily hampered. Bumped by another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.

 

8 On The Buses – slow to begin.

 

Race 2 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE (1) 520m

2 Lynney Sure Can – shifted outwards at the start tightening other runners.

 

3 Mini Sox – tightened for room at the start, checked and lost ground. Checked off heels entering the turn out of the front straight.

 

4 Always Forever – tightened for room at the start, checked and lost ground.

 

6 Ferrari Cloud - bumped by another runner when rounding the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered. Shortly afterwards, shifted outwards and contacted the heels of another runner, and subsequently lost ground.

 

7 Night Cry – bumped by another runner when entering the back straight, checked and lost considerable ground. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered. Shortly after, was contacted on the heels by another runner, checked and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip and was stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 3 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE (2) 520m

1 Hara's Star – bumped the hindquarters of another runner when rounding the turn out of the front straight. Tightened for room through the turn into the back straight and lost ground.

 

2 Annika – checked off heels when entering the first turn.

 

3 Awesome Dancer – tightened for room when approaching the first turn and lost ground. Bumped on the hindquarters when rounding the turn out of the front straight and lost ground. Clipped on the heels by another runner through the turn into the back straight and lost ground. A. Eddie, handler of the greyhound, was questioned on its performance, particularly its actions when approaching the turn out of the front straight. Eddie stated that the greyhound in several starts at this track and distance has received interference at that point on the track and always attempts to cross to the rail. In his opinion the greyhound had momentarily eased when unable to find the rail position while also anticipating interference through the first turn from an outside runner. Stewards noted the explanation and too no further action.

 

5 Fabulous Style - tightened for room at the start, checked and lost ground.

 

6 Stylish Suzie – tightened for room at the start, severely checked and lost ground.

 

7 Magical Bill – shifted inwards at the start tightening other runners.

 

8 Aerobic Zone – slow to begin.

 

Race 4 – EXPAT LODGE MIXED 4/5 600m

1 It's A Trick – tightened for room through the first turn and was momentarily hampered.

 

2 Emmaville Star – bumped with another runner through the first turn and was momentarily hampered. Checked off heels leaving the front straight.

 

5 Techno Hornet – bumped with another runner through the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced. Checked off heels when leaving the back straight.

 

Race 5 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MASTERS HEAT 1 MA5 520m

1 Infrared Lad - tightened for room when approaching the first turn and was momentarily hampered.

 

3 Faringdon – slow to begin. Improved onto the heels of another runner when entering the first turn, severely checked and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

 

4 Nikki Nettle - Tightened for room when approaching the first turn and was momentarily hampered. Bumped by and dictated wider on the home turn by another runner and continued to bump with that runner throughout the home straight.

 

6 Bitter Delight – slow to begin. Improved onto the heels of another runner when entering the first turn, checked and lost ground. Shifted outwards when rounding the turn into the home straight while bumping with another runner and continued to do so throughout the home straight.

 

7 Shawsy – slow to begin. Tightened for room when approaching the first turn and was momentarily hampered.

 

8 Dolcetto Hayze – slow to begin.

 

Race 6 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 (1) 520m

2 Cooper Dooper – began awkwardly. Checked off heels when entering the first turn and bumped with another runner subsequently losing ground. Tightened for room when entering the back straight and lost ground. Mr W. Dunsmore, handler of the greyhound, was questioned on its performance. He advised the kennel expected a forward showing when fresh from a 5-week spell but was disappointed with its poor start. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

 

4 Naturally Gifted – bumped by another runner when entering the first turn and lost ground.

 

5 Machine Green – tightened for room approaching the first turn and was momentarily hampered. Bumped with another runner through the turn into the back straight and lost ground.

 

6 Cuddle Me Cloud – tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground.

 

Race 7 – TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY MIXED 4/5 520m

1 Bago Bluff – checked off heels rounding the turn out of the front straight. Bumped on the hindquarters when rounding the turn into the back straight and was monetarily hampered. Tightened for room when rounding the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.

 

4 Not Out Cloud – shifted inwards and bumped with another runner when approaching the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and was monetarily hampered. Tightened for room when approaching the turn out of the back straight, checked and lost ground.

 

6 Mako Mac – tightened for room shortly after the start, checked and lost ground.

 

Race 8 – FAST TIMES @ SIRES ON ICE BEST 8 520m

2 Stinger Noir – checked off heels leaving the front straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

 

4 Sustain The Rage – tightened for room leaving the front straight, checked and lost ground.

 

6 Zenyatta Miss – tightened for room shortly after the start, checked and lost ground. Bumped by another runner leaving the front straight, shifted wider and lost ground.

 

Race 9 – SKY RACING GRADE 5 (2) 520m

1 Cyndie's Out – checked off heels when entering the first turn.

 

4 Golden Joy – began awkwardly. Tightened for room shortly after the start, checked and lost ground. Collided heavily with other runners when entering the first turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground.

 

5 Tad Nosey – improved onto the heels of a forward runner when approaching the first turn, was checked, then collided with another runner and fell taking no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside foreleg and was stood down for 7 days.

 

6 Misty Haze - tightened for room shortly after the start, checked and lost ground. Bounded over a fallen runner when entering the first turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground.

 

8 Betty Kingsbrae – contacted on the heels by another runner when approaching the first turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground.

 

Race 10 – SELL YOUR CAR @ MOTORHUB MASTERS HEAT 2 MA5 520m

1 Bee Solo – placed several awkward strides when rounding the turn out of the back straight and commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind back muscle and was stood down for 18 days. Trainer C. Cassidy advised he would consider retiring the greyhound. He was nonetheless advised a veterinary certificate of fitness must be provided prior to being permitted to race again.

 

3 Queen Werina – shifted outwards over the concluding stages, collided with another runner, was severely checked and lost ground.

 

4 Quite Sincere - raced wide through the first turn.

 

5 Belvedere Babe – raced wide in the back straight. Collided with another runner over the concluding stages and was hampered.

 

6 Tienne Tea – slow to begin. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.

 

7 Brother Desy – slow to begin. Raced wide for a majority of the event.
