Other Comments / Explanations: Trainer Keith Donaldson was questioned regarding the running of Somerset Jade in race 3 at Albion Park on the 13th April. It was established that K Donaldson contacted Racing Queensland to scratch the greyhound however when it was established that it would be a late scratching K Donaldson re-examined the greyhound later on the day and was satisfied that the greyhound was fit to start. K Donaldson was reminded of his obligations to inform the Stewards of any matter that could affect a greyhounds performance. Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races
Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 2 395m 1 Extra Coins – collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight. Checked entering the front straight. 2 Head On Bella – checked through the first turn. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. Checked approaching the turn into the front straight. Checked entering the front straight. 3 Roy Revere – tightened and checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. 4 National Cheer – collided with another runner in the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. Checked approaching the turn into the front straight. Checked entering the front straight. 6 Dynamic Trav - checked through the first turn. 8 Special Bill - collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight. Collided with another runner in the back straight.
Race 2 – SELL YOUR CAR @ MOTORHUB BEST 8 2 395m 2 Cosmo Bill –raced tight through the first turn. 4 Good Boy Ivan - raced tight through the first turn. 5 Fernando Bee - raced tight through the first turn. 7 Redeal - raced tight through the first turn.
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m 1 Tzardom - collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. 4 Hara's Penny - checked through the first turn. Hampered rounding the turn into the front straight. 5 Special Cyndie - collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight. 6 Deb's Blue Boy - collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight. 7 Opal Prince – shifted out rounding the turn into the front straight. 8 Rattie's Son - checked through the first turn. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. 9 (Box 3) Mighty Option – slow to begin. Collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight.
Race 4 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE 2 395m 1 Here I Am - shifted out rounding the turn into the front straight. 4 Pads And Paws - checked through the first turn. 5 Little Engine - collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight. Hampered rounding the turn into the front straight. 7 Jayville Torpedo - checked through the first turn. 8 Indie Lou - checked through the first turn. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. 9 (Box 6) Oliver Tears - checked through the first turn.
Race 5 – EXPAT LODGE MIXED 4/5 2 331m 1 Zulu Plastique – tightened and checked entering the back straight. Shifted out rounding the turn out of the back straight. Severely checked when marred by another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. 2 Beau's Image - tightened and checked entering the back straight. 3 Junk Yard Hutchy - tightened and checked entering the back straight. Severely checked when it marred another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. Charged under Rule 69 Marring 1st offence. Stood down from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and must complete 1 satisfactory trial before returning to racing. 9 (Box8) He's Never Here- checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.
Race 6 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 2 395m 1 Dynamo Waz – severely checked when tightened through the first turn. 2 Lanark Blue - tightened and checked through the first turn. 3 High Order - tightened and checked through the first turn. 4 Captain's Knock – checked entering the back straight. 7 Lady Opal - checked entering the back straight.
Race 7 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE BEST 8 2 331m 6 Statue Sis – checked when marred by another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. 7 Just Don't Know – hampered rounding the turn into the front straight. 8 Bergari – turned its head and marred another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. Charged under Rule 69 Marring 1st offence. Stood down from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and must complete 1 satisfactory trial before returning to racing.
Race 8 – TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY GRADE 5 3 520m 2 Girl Like Her – checked off heels leaving the front straight. 5 Miss Grasscutter – shifted out rounding the turn out of the front straight. 6 Power Point Diva – contacted another runners heels and was checked leaving the back straight. 7 Run With Girl – hampered rounding the turn out of the front straight. 8 Alpine Flight – had its heels contacted by another runner leaving the back straight.
Race 9 – ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 2 395m 4 Adelina – collided with another runner and checked through the first turn. 5 Spasmodic Star - collided with another runner and checked through the first turn. 6 Shadow Blitz - collided with another runner and checked through the first turn. 7 Eternal Flame - collided with another runner and checked through the first turn. Checked entering the back straight. Shifted in and contacted the running rail rounding the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its off fore flexor tendon and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
Race 10 – BRISGREYS.COM 5PW 2 395m 2 Good Vibrations - collided with another runner and checked through the first turn. 3 Frosty Cowboy - collided with another runner and checked entering the back straight. 5 Super Cute – underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. 6 Prize Portrait - collided with another runner and checked through the first turn. Checked entering the back straight. 7 Stevo's Bad Boy - collided with another runner and checked through the first turn. 8 Golly Goodness - collided with another runner and checked entering the back straight.
