7 Key West – Slow to begin. Checked off heels in the front straight. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight.

8 Dynamic Bill – Began awkwardly. Carried wider rounding the first turn. Inconvenienced rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

RACE 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 520M

3 True Blue Moon – Tightened in the front straight. Checked and carried wider rounding the first turn. Severely checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

4 Say Some Words – Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Unidentified – Tightened shortly after the start. Checked and carried wider rounding the first turn.

8 She Wolf – Carried wider rounding the first turn. Severely checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

1 Calla Sue – Slow to begin. Tightened over the concluding stages of the event.

RACE 7 - QLD SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP HEAT 1 OPEN 520M

Stewards delayed all clear following the running of Race 7 to confer with the Judge in relation to the photo for 1^st place before declaring a dead heat.

2 Captain Bizarre – Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

3 Declan Monelli – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.

6 Hopeful Lana – Slow to begin. Severely checked racing through the catching pen.

7 Shipwreck – Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

8 Kiss And Spin – Checked rounding the turn into the home straight.

RACE 8 - QLD SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP HEAT 2 OPEN 520M

3 Jagger Moves – Checked rounding the first turn.

4 See Them Try – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. Raced wide rounding the turn into the home straight and in the home straight.

6 Just A Sort – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Hopeful Hope – Checked rounding the first turn. Raced wide in the back straight.

8 Samona – Slow to begin. Checked racing through the catching pen. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

RACE 9 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD MA5 (2) 520M

5 Roxy Tequila – Inconvenienced racing through the catching pen.

7 Steal Away – Slow to begin.

8 Pre Cruise – Inconvenienced racing through the catching pen. Checked rounding the turn into the home straight.

RACE 10 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE MA5 (3) 520M

Stewards reviewed the start of the event in respect of whether Zipping Brady had been impeded upon the opening of the boxes, therefore not being afforded a fair start. After viewing the available footage, Stewards were satisfied that the greyhound had not been impeded and the all clear was subsequently given.

1 Zipping Brady – Pre-empted the start, making heavy head contact with the front of the boxes and appearing to catch its off fore limb on the lids before beginning extremely awkwardly and losing considerable ground. Trailed the field throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained a laceration to its head and was stood down from racing for seven (7) days. Stewards deemed the actions of the greyhound during the event to be unsatisfactory pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 129(a) and ordered that the greyhound complete a solo trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again.

8 Horsburgh – Lost ground from the start and trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for forty-two (42) days.
