3 Blue Haze – Into the back turn was tightened, in the home straight bumped with another runner.

5 No Surprise – In the home straight bumped with another runner.

6 Joey The Poke – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn improved onto heels.

8 Cool Hand Georgi – Slow to begin, raced wide throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

10 Titanium Gunn – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 2 520m

1 Lord Yuri – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

2 Jewel Bee – Began awkwardly, over the concluding stages bumped with another runner on several occasions.

4 Mumma's Brew – Over the concluding stages bumped with another runner on several occasions.

5 Grovely Flyer – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked.

6 Moonshine Babe – Through the 1^st turn was severely checked.

7 True Blue – Through the back turn commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside fore stopper and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

3 Smart Houdini – Through the back turn was checked.

6 Daysea's Sam – Leaving the 1^st turn was tightened.

7 Loquacious – Leaving the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Farmor Alfa's – Shortly after the start was tightened.

5 Laughing Les – Shortly after the start was tightened, approaching the 1^st turn clipped heels with another runner falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
