5 Thanks Mark – Turned its head to the outside towards another runner rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side pin and was subsequently stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Ms K Harkness regarding the greyhounds racing manners rounding the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury), Thanks Mark must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

1 Shian Pixie – Tailed the field for the majority of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the offside hip support and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.

8 Speedy Scrub – Severely checked approaching the top turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

 

10 Bang Bang Bang – Tailed the field for the majority of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the offside hock and was subsequently stood down for 21 days.

3 Quicker Sophie – Gave ground over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.
