5 Thanks Mark – Turned its head to the outside towards another runner rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side pin and was subsequently stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Ms K Harkness regarding the greyhounds racing manners rounding the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury), Thanks Mark must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted. |
