The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 460m

First away was DARLING LEE, WHERES ME was last away.  JUMP DA GUN and FLYING MERLIN raced tight after the jump.  At the first corner CARFREA and SAM IT IS checked onto SET TO SCORE, FLYING MERLIN was squeezed out the back.  DARLING LEE was checked just past the first corner. EARN A QUID raced wide down the back straight and continued to race wide for the remainder of the race.

 

Race 2 – Novice 460m

Fast away was ALL ABOUT HOPE, GENTLE JOAN was slow.  At the first corner COMING IN HOT and LOCA FORAY raced tight, LOCA FORAY was checked dropping back then was checked off the back of ONSEN.  COMING IN HOT raced wide down the back straight.  Down the home straight WILBY SECRETS veered onto STILTON WARRIOR and was consequently charged with marring 28 days. LOCA FORAY was vetted and found to have injured its right hip support 10 days.

 

Race 3 – 5th Grade 460m

First away was KOUKLA MOO. MARLOW LEE, SALLY SPARKLES, CAMBLA MISFIT and KOUKLA MOO all raced tight at the first corner with SALLY SPARKLES getting squeezed out then blocked for racing room.  PENNIES FANTASY raced wide past the catching pen.  CALL YA BACK raced wide down the back straight. LEDARO CAGNEY raced wide at the back corner and into the home corner. SALLY SPARKLES went very wide at the home corner and down the home straight.

 

CREDIT LIMIT was vetted and found to have no injury.

 

Race 4 – Maiden 460m

Last out was ROCK YHE CASSBOLT.  SURF HONOUR TEAR, GYMPIE FLYER and ZAZA ZARA were all tight at the first corner.  BRAGA BAINE raced wide down the back straight.  ROCK THE CASBOLT went wide coming into the back corner, ZA ZA ZARA ran over the back of ROCK THE CASBOLT causing it to fall, with ZA ZA ZARA almost falling.  LITTLE STATE raced wide into the home corner and down the home straight.  Both ZA ZA ZARA and ROCK THE CASBOLT were vetted after the race and both were found to have no injury.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 460m

First away was clearly LORENZOS GOLD.  ZIVA ZAFONIC and SIR ANGELO raced tight at the first corner.  Both WILBY SPECIAL and AIDENS HOT raced wide past the catching pen.  WILBY SPECIAL raced wide into the home corner and down the home straight.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 550m

First away was EL CHAD, last out was OLD CROONER.  EL CHAD and MISS CHARM raced tight at the first corner. LIKETY SPLIT went wide at the first corner taking OLD CROONER with it.  EL CHAD was well clear by the back straight. OLD CROONER stayed wide for the majority of the race

 

Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 460m

An even start.  The field was tight at the first corner.  TEJAYS GRAND railed through to the lead.  TOPPER WEBB and TEJAYS GRAND raced tight down the back straight.  AGENT JAY raced wide at the home corner and down the home straight.
