General: Stewards spoke with Brodie Burgess and Wayne Raines in regard to the dress code and advised them that their shirts did not comply with Racing Queensland dress standards.

Trainer David Plummer was fined $100, under the provisions of GAR 99 – No catcher.

Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 460m

1 Lightened – Tightened for racing room entering the first turn, dragged down from behind rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

3 Cambla Clown – Tightened for racing room entering the first turn, checked off heels entering the back straight.

4 Budgie Mule – Late scratching at 12.10pm due to illness the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

5 Leo Gibbs – Tightened for racing room entering the first turn, checked off the heels and lost ground entering the home turn.

6 Velocity Alexa – Checked off heels approaching the home turn.

7 Imploding – Checked off heels approaching the home turn. Stewards spoke to the trainer’s representative Tracey Nicholls regarding the greyhound’s actions approaching the winning post. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule. Stewards will monitor the greyhound for future events.

8 Blue Sensation – Checked across heels entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Race 2 - EAST END HOTEL NOVICE 460m

1 Mount Cambla – Slow to begin.

4 Black Petunia – Checked off heels and lost ground entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside pin muscle strain, the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 7 days.

5 Ky's Dream – Bumped shortly after the start.

6 Spring Aster – Bumped shortly after the start, checked rounding the first turn, checked off heels entering the back straight.

Race 3 - DAN SAVILLE MEMORIAL 0-4 WINS 550m

4 Double Tiara – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

5 Durham – Late scratching at 12.49pm due to an offside pin muscle strain, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

7 Mister Key – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities. Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

8 Blazing Norman – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury, the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 42 days and will need to complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next. This will be referred to the racing injury review panel.

Race 4 - BARGARA BAKERY GRADE 5 (1) 460m

2 Shawanda – Checked shortly after the start.

4 Velocity Justice – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

5 Double Espresso – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn, checked approaching home turn.

6 Not Allowed – Slow to begin.

9 Blazing Bandit (3) – Checked shortly after the start, tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn, shifted out entering the home turn.

10compton Tess (8) – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities. Checked approaching the home turn.

Race 5 – TAB GRADE 5 (2) 460m

6 Scriven – Checked shortly after the start.

7 Awesome Ability – Checked shortly after the start.

8 Rescind – Checked shortly after the start. Momentarily became unbalanced approaching the home turn.

Race 6 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS MIXED 3/4 460m

3 Queen Supreme – Slow to begin.

7 Tiffany Twisted – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

Race 7 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION BEST 8 460m

4 Fogelberg – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

5 Viva Belle – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

6 Kotiro Koura – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

7 Summer's Queen – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

8 Future's Changed – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

Race 8 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION BEST 8 460m

2 Canya Bellatrix – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn. Collided with another runner and lost ground approaching the home turn.

4 Jericho – Severely checked and fell approaching the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to the offside hind. The greyhound was stood down from racing for 5 days.

5 Louder – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

6 Hope's Golden – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start, tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

7 We're Back Boys – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start, tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions rounding the first turn.

8 Garfunkel - Steward’s spoke to trainer David Plummer regarding the greyhound’s racing actions in the home straight. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer, Stewards deemed that Garfunkel had taken its attention away for the lure, therefore Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to Pursue 2nd offence - 28 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 9 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (3) 460m

1 Disney Cool – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner entering the first turn. Shifted out entering the back straight. Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner entering the home straight.

3 Apache Bear – Late scratching at 8.50am – Injury.

4 Zipping Fern – Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner entering the first turn.

5 Jet Burner – Checked entering the back straight.

7 Little Shelly – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

8 Nomad Road – Slow to begin.

9 Tennessee Betty (6) – Checked and gave ground rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist sprain, the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 5 days.

Race 10 – TAB MA5 460m

2 Slick Mac – Underwent pre-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions entering the first turn.

5 Mystery Duck - Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions entering the first turn.

6 Bold Character - Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions entering the first turn.

7 Benissimo - Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions entering the first turn.

8 Blackpool Amour - Tightened for racing room and bumped with another runner on several occasions entering the first turn.
