VETERINARY EXAMINATIONS

The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

Race 1 – Maiden/ 5^th Grade 5 410m

CASH QUEEN and ETOPIA both began well. NANIERNA and BRIGHT DEBREE came together at the 1^st turn. Both greyhounds were inconvenienced. ETOPIA and CASH QUEEN came together on straightening. CASH QUEEN became unbalanced.

Race 2 – 5^th Grade 410m

Even start. Shortly after the start MY FIRST NINJA lost ground when tightened for running between SENOR AL and TITO which was shifting in. Through the 1^st turn WILDASH PLUMBOB and MY FIRST NINJA were both severely checked when tightened for running between SENOR AL and SCARLETT’S DEVIL which was shifting in. At the home turn MY FIRST NINJA shifted out across the running of WILDASH PLUMBOB which was severely checked.

Race 3 – Maiden Final 410m

HOT BUBBLES was best to begin. Through the 1^st turn WILDASH WHISPER shifted in severely checking the running of HOT BUBBLES which lost significant ground. Entering the back straight TEAM TOKALON shifted in severely checking the running of BAILINATOR. FLINTSTONE KID which was following was also inconvenienced. At the same time MR. REX shifted in checking the running of BENNY BROOK. FLINTSTONE KID and MR.REX were racing tight and bumping at the home turn. MR. REX was checked as a result.

The greyhound HOT BUBBLES was vetted post-race and no abnormalities were revealed.

Race 4 – 5^th Grade 410m

PRINCE OF DOOM was best to begin. POWER CELL was slowly away. Through the 1^st turn FEAR NO HURDLE lost ground when tightened for running between LILLY BELLEBIRD and COLLRINA both of which were shifting ground. POWER CELL raced wide throughout.

Race 5 – 4^th Grade 410m

SNAKE PROOF was best to begin. Shortly after the start BENEDICT GEOFF lost ground when tightened for running between CHECK THE WING and WILDASH MONTE which was shifting in. In the back straight SUPER STORY lost ground when tightened for running between SNAKE PROOF and WILDASH MONTE which was continuing to shift in. Through the top turn SUPER STORY shifted in tightening the running of BENEDICT GEOFF. SNAKE PROOF and WILDASH MONTE came together down the running.

Race 6 – Best 8 410m

TICKFORD was best to begin. General tightening at the 1^st turn resulted in interference to the running of JENNY BOOKER and FEARS THE WORD. Both greyhounds lost ground. Entering the back straight ARLANDRIA shifted in checking the running of SHAKE YOUR BOOTY. ARLANDRIA and DUEL‘EM UP came together at the top turn. ARLANDRIA became unbalanced.
