GENERAL

Race 1 – Maiden 410m

PA TING was best to begin. WILDASH FRED dwelt at the start. TRICKY CAPERS jumped outwards inconveniencing the running of PUNGUSHE, BEHM and LUSIMA. Leaving the catching pen SLAYTON’S POWER shifted out across the running of PUNGUSHE. Both greyhounds were checked. Approaching the top turn BEHM shifted out checking the running of SLAYTON’S POWER.

Race 2 – 5^th Grade 410m

ZOEY’S FRIEND and HANK SNOW both dwelt at the start. Shortly after the start BELLA MARLO shifted in checking the running of WILDASH DIDDY. ETOPIA which was following was also checked. Through the catching pen BELLA MARLO which was continuing to shift in checked the running of CALL ME CHARLES. WILDASH DIDDY and HANK SNOW were also inconvenienced. Through the top turn WILDASH DIDDY shifted in checking the running of CALL ME CHARLES. ZOEY’S FRIEND and HANK SNOW came together on straightening.

Race 3 – 5^th Grade 410m

ROCKET’S MAGIC was best to begin. Through the catching pen CASH QUEEN shifted out inconveniencing the running of LEE LARNI.

Race 4 – 5^th Grade 410m

COSMIC LAMP was slowly away. BANDALORE lost ground when tightened for running through the catching pen. TOKALON HOTSHOT and COSMIC LAMP both raced wide into the top turn. Through the top turn TITO, when in clear running, appeared to become unbalanced and lost momentum for a short distance.

The greyhound TITO was vetted post-race and found to have sustained an off side hip injury in running, and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

Race 5 – 3/4^th Grade 410m

The greyhound SMART CHIC which was a late withdrawal at 5:30pm after being found to be seasonal and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Even start. Shortly after the start FULL BLOWN lost ground when tightened between runners. Leaving the catching pen SUPER STORY was tightened for running between EARLY SHOW and SNAKE PROOF which was shifting in. Through the top turn COBBIN improved onto the heels of STARZAR GOLD dragging that greyhound down from behind. STARZAR GOLD lost significant ground in this incident. COBBIN was also inconvenienced. EARLY SHOW and SNAKE PROOF were both wide at the home turn.

Race 6 – Best 8 410m

Shortly after the start TICKFORD lost ground when tightened between runners. General interference leaving the catching pen resulted in MALIAN REIGN, BENEDICT GEOFF, TICKFORD and BLUEFIRE CHALICE all being checked to varying degrees. Through the top turn SHAKE YOUR BOOTY improved onto the heels of FOUR PAWZA POWER dragging that greyhound down from behind.

The greyhound TICKFORD was vetted post-race and found to have sustained a near side groin injury, and was stood down for a period of 20 days.
