TRIALS

Stewards Trial 1 – 544m

The greyhound CHIEF JINX performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 544m in a time of 32.67 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

Stewards Trial 1 – 410m

The greyhound SWEET ROXETTE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 410m in a time of 24.26 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

RACE REPORTS

 

1.

BOB DRURY MAIDEN 410M

JOJURI was the best to begin.  GLIDING MISS and ZIPPING QUINT were slow to begin.  NO NOT ME checked off JOJURI and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  JOJURI lost ground on the turn out of the back straight and continued to lose ground finishing  last.  A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities.

KATHY KING NOVICE 410M

MISS TURKEY and DISPLOSION were the best to begin.  ZIPPING OUTLAW checked off the heels of DISPLOSION and lost ground on the turn into the back straight causing interference to KARMA’S TIME.  KARMA’S TIME checked off ZIPPING OUTLAW and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  MISS TURKEY shifted out and bumped BARCIA’S HUNT on the turn into the front straight resulting in BARCIA’S HUNT becoming unbalanced and racing wide in the straight.

GORDY SKINNER 5th GRADE 410M

SMILES ALOT was the best to begin.  RIPPING ESCAPE was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  SMOOTH FLAME checked off SCOMELD and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  SMILES ALOT raced wide in the back straight.  PASS THE AMMO checked off MISS LARDIE DA and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SMILES ALOT raced wide in the front straight.

4.

MICK GAUCI 4th GRADE 410M

LEAD CONTENDER was the best to begin.  SCOTTIE’S GIRL was slow to begin.  LOTS OF TIME and ZIPPING CARLTON bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.

GREG MANSKI BEST 8 410M

Even start.  CRUSHED ICE was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  AMY’S ELITE checked off BELLA MARLO and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to BURNER BANT, IT’S HIS JOB who fell and CRUSHED ICE.  MANHATTAN MAID shifted out across the heels of HARA’S FL;YER on the turn into the front straight and raced wide in the straight.
