Stewards Trial 1 – 410m

The greyhound ROCKET’S MAGIC performed a satisfactory 6 month’ trial over the distance of 410m in a time of 24.07.

 

RACE REPORTS

 

1.

NOVICE 410M

DISPLOSION was the best to begin.  BROTHER ROB and MISS TURKEY were slow to begin.  KARMA’S TIME checked off DISPLOSION and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  OILS AIN’T OILS checked off MISS TURKEY and lost ground entering the back straight.  KARMA’S TIME raced wide into the front straight.  MISS TURKEY, SWEET ROXETTE and KARMA’S TIME raced wide in the front straight to the finish.

5th GRADE 410M

SMILES ALOT was the best to begin.  NO WORRIES BUDDY lost ground shortly after the start.  OLD MATERIAL checked across the heels of MISS LARDIE DA on the turn into the front straight.  SMILES ALOT raced wide into the front straight and continued wide to the finish.  OLD MATERIAL raced wide in the front straight.

5th GRADE 410M

HE TELLS LIES was the best to begin.  TOES checked off the heels of SCOMELD on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  TOES raced wide for the majority of the race.

4th GRADE 410M

CHIEF BOLT was the best to begin.  LIBERTY LEGS and SCOTTIES GIRL bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  LEAD CONTENDER shifted out across the heels of CHIEF BOLT on the turn into the front straight causing some inconvenience to LEAD CONTENDER.

5.

BEST 8 410M

BELLA MARLO was the best to begin.  FROM THE TAP was slow to begin.  ATOMIC OPIE, KARMA’S COMING and BURNER BANT bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in the three greyhounds losing ground and causing interference to HARA’S FLYER.  KARMA’S COMING checked off HARA’S FLYER and lost ground on the turn into the front straight resulting in KARMA’S COMING continuing to lose ground and take no further part in the race.  BURNER BANT checked off HARA’S FLYER and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.

CAIRNS GRAND PRIX HEAT 1 544M

Even start.  CHIEF JINX and ZIPPING CARLTON bumped shortly after the start resulting in ZIPPING CARLTON losing ground.  SLOW DANCER and GO GWAN bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in GO GWAN losing ground.  MUTLEY ON FRIDAY and ZIPPING CARLTON bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in ZIPPING CARLTON losing ground and racing wide on the turn.  GO GWAN checked off the heels of CHIEF JINX and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

CAIRNS GRAND PRIX HEAT 2 544M

SPUDNUT was the best to begin.  ZIPPING OUTLAW was slow to begin.  NOT A WORD raced wide on the turn out of the front straight.  QUEEN OF CAWDOR checked off MANHATTEN MAID and lost ground entering the back straight.  SPUDNUT and KERRIE’S A MINX bumped entering the front straight on the final occasion causing interference to SPUDNUT.

CAIRNS GRAND PRIX HEAT 3 544M

Even start with WHATTA PASS slow to begin.  NOVA PARTY and TOP TELLER bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  NO NOT ME checked off WHATTA PASS and lost considerable ground on the turn into the back straight.
