FAREWELL HARRY QUE MAIDEN/5th GRADE 410M

RHONDA’S DOUGIE and KY KENNETH were the best to begin.  POUNCING LILIE was slow to begin.  CREED checked off SLIDING DOORS and lost ground shortly after the start.  TRACEY’S HERO checked off POUNCING LILIE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  POUNCING LILIE shifted out entering the front straight bumping RHONDA’S DOUGIE resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  CREED raced wide into and down the front straight.

NULEAF CAIRNS NOVICE 410M

DISPLOSION was the best to begin.  NOT FADE AWAY checked off DISPLOSION and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight.  KARMA’S TIME was tightened for racing room and lost ground back on to NOT FADE AWAY on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground.  RHONDA’S BEAR checked off RHONDA’S YOGI and lost ground entering the back straight.  RHONDA’S YOGI checked off RHONDA’S BEAR approaching the turn into the front straight resulting in RHONDA’S YOGI losing ground causing interference to PARIS AUGOGO.

BARRON VALLEY HOTEL 5th GRADE 410M

Even start.  SLIPPERY COIN lost ground shortly after the start.  GO PRANCER GO checked off MONOCHRONE and lost ground back on to MAYWYN WILL WIN on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground.

ALL WHEEL DRIVE 4/5th GRADE 410M

POPPA’S PICK was the best to begin.  TRISHA NOLAN was slow to begin.  DUSKY SILK was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  MACADAM and SCOMELD raced wide into the front straight.

5.

CENTRAL TYRES BEST 8 410M

Even start.  KARMA’S COMING lost ground entering the front straight and continued to lose ground finishing last.  A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed a near hind muscle injury.

T HIRE ATHERTON 4/5th GRADE 544M

BURNER BANT was the best to begin.  WATCH OUT RENALD was slow to begin.  WATCH OUT RENALD lost ground entering the back straight and continued to lose ground finished a distant last.  A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed the greyhound suffered cramping.  WATCH OUT RENALD was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days and a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to racing.
