TRIALS

The greyhound KARMA’S COMING performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 410m, in a time

of 24.61, and is now cleared to race.

RACE REPORTS

1.

R & D RACING MIXED M/5 – 410M POPPA’S PICK was best to begin. In the 1^st turn, JUST KISS IT was tightened for racing room and was hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight, HARA’S HUMMER and KY KENNETH collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Entering the front straight, JUST KISS IT and POPPA’S PICK collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound POPPA’S PICK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to both hind legs and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

2.	CHASE MAGAZINE MIXED 3/4 – 410M Even start. In the 1^st turn, SPRING POLLY and BELLA MARLO raced tight. In the back straight, JACOBY RAIDER raced wide.

ZAMMARTO’S PLUMBING MOSSMAN MIXED 2/3 – 410M Even start, with NOT A WORD marginally slow. In the 1^st turn, TRACEY’S HERO and TOP TELLER collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the turn out of the back straight, TRACEY’S HERO and LIBBY’S HERO collided. NOT A WORD was checked resulting in LIBBY’S HERO and NOT A WORD to lose ground. Approaching the finish line, LIBBY’S HERO and NOT A WORD bumped.

4.	5^TH GRADE FINAL – 410M Even start, with KARMA’S TIME and NO NOT ME marginally slow. In the 1^st turn, RHONDA’S DOUGIE, KARMA’S TIME and NO NOT ME collided, causing all greyhounds to be hampered. In back straight, HARA’S STORM was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

5.	BAIRDS RACING 5^TH GRADE – 544M Even start. After the start, PHANTOM HENRY, JACK ADDI, RIMBA SAMBIA and BANJO AN’ HENRY all raced tight, causing JACK ADDI and RIMBA SAMBIA to be hampered. In the front straight, on the 1^st occasion, RIMBA SAMBIA shifted in colliding with JACK ADDI, causing JACK ADDI to hit the running rail and lose ground. In back straight, RIMBA SAMBIA clipped heels and was hampered. Entering the front straight, GROOVY SWEET and WORTHY MOMENT bumped, at the same time RIMBA SAMBIA and BANJO AN’ HENRY bumped.
