CUT CHARLY was declared hard to box. KARMA’S
TIME was best to begin. Shortly after the start RHONDA’S BEAR was tightened
for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
SHORT CUT CHARLY shifted out checking DON’T BABYLON and both greyhounds lost
ground. |

Shortly after the start RHONDA’S DOUGIE and JUST KISS IT collided and both
greyhounds were hampered. |

the back straight BELLA MARLO, JACOBY RAIDER and NOT A WORD bumped. Leaving
the back straight GO PRANCER GO clipped heels and lost ground. |

TYRES ATHERTON 5TH GRADE – 544M HARA’S STORM was best to begin with HAWKE’S SPECIAL and
SLIDING DOORS marginally slow. In the front straight SWIFT NIMROD clipped
heels and was hampered. |

CAIRNS GRAND PRIX 544
OPEN FINAL – 544M SLOW DANCER was best to begin. Shortly after the start
BURNER BANT, INNOCENT MAN and BRUTON MISS were tightened for racing room and
lost ground. In the 1st turn NOVA PARTY and RIMBA SAMBIA collided
resulting in MOTOWN HOLLY to be checked and all greyhounds lost ground. In the
front straight HARA’S SAM and BRUTON MISS bumped and both greyhounds were
hampered. The greyhound RIMBA SAMBIA underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a fractured tail and
was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

BLACK AMEX and TRACEY’S HERO collided causing TRACEY’S HERO to lose ground.
Entering the back straight LIBBY’S HERO clipped heels causing TRACEY’S HERO
to be checked and both greyhounds lost ground. Rounding the turn into the
front straight CREED and LEAD CONTENDER bumped on numerous occasions causing
both greyhounds to lose ground. |
