VETERINARY EXAMINATIONS

 

The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

 

Race 1             MR. COLLISION

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 366m

OKA’S ANGEL began well.  At the same time MR. COLLISION was slow away.  Shortly after MR. COLLISION shifted across the track and raced down the outside of its own accord.

 

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. K Kemp regarding the performance of MR. COLLISION.  Mr. Kemp explained that it was the greyhound’s 1st time on the track and stewards issued a warning.

 

Race 2 – Novice 366m

SUPER SOOK was best to begin.  Shortly after the start GUNSTOCK and OUR ISLAND HOME were racing tight.  Approaching the 300m mark ANTI AMIGO and HYDOGEN were racing tight and bumping for some consideration distance.  Passing the 200m mark OUR ISLAND HOME shifted across the track checking off the heels of BIG BOY BETRO.

 

Race 3 – Novice 366m

ARCTIC KING began well.  Passing the 300m mark SMART HORNET and PEPPER PRINCESS were racing tight.  Approaching the 100m mark PEPPER PRINCESS shifted across the track of its own accord.

 

Race 4 – 4th Grade 366m

JIMMY BRUTE began well.  Approaching the finishing line BULL TITAN and QUE SERA were racing tight.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 366m

PEARLS ANGEL was slow away.  Passing the 200m mark PEARLS ANGEL and VELOCITY SHIRL were racing tight and bumping for some considerable distance.  Passing the 100m mark VELOCITY SHIRL shifted inwards checking the running of RUM RAMBLER.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 366m

Even start.  Passing the 200m mark GOLD ZIVA shifted across the track checking the running of VAGUE MEMORIES.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade 366m

IT’S MY TIME shifted in sharply hitting NAPALM.  In this incident NAPALM became unbalanced.  Passing the 300m mark GLENOIT shifted in checking the running of SHYAN YAHOO.  In this incident GLENOIT became unbalanced.  Shortly after GLENOIT and NAPALM were racing tight.

 

Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 366m

LAKODA DAWN was slow away.  Shortly after ALOTA TALK and WALLY’S WAY were bumping.  Passing the 200m GOD ONLY KNOWS shifted across the track checking WALLY’S WAY.
