GENERAL

The greyhound DREAM TIME BABY performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 366m and in a time of 20.42 is now cleared straight tracks only up to 366m only. The greyhound is to race in blinkers.

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 366m

SIDE STEP GARY was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start ACES FANCY and BOEHRINGER collided. Approaching the quarter way mark AMELIA STAR crossed to the outside. Approaching the halfway point SIDE STEP GARY crossed to the inside with ACES FANCY crossing to the outside.

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 366m

PETER PERFECT and ALPHA POSEIDON were best to begin with MAGIC MEE MAA and CHOPPER NORRIS slowly away. Soon after the start MAGIC MEE MAA crossed to the outside. Approaching the halfway point COOCHIN CAROL crossed to the outside. Passing the halfway point COOCHIN CAROL crossed back to the inside.

Race 3 – Novice 366m

VALENTINO JACK was best to begin with LOVE YOU ALOT slowly away. Soon after the start VALENTINO JACK and HYDROGEN collided. Approaching the halfway point FABULOUS LENY and GALWAY SUPERSTAR collided. Passing the halfway point LOVE YOU ALOT crossed to the centre causing FABULOUS LENY to check off its heels causing FABULOUS LENY to cross to the inside.

Race 4 – Novice 366m

Even start. Soon after the start AT THE NECK crossed to the outside. Approaching the halfway point FLASHMAN SAM crossed to the inside. Approaching the winning post MR. SURRENDER checked off the heels of TWEED DANCER.

Race 5 – 5^th Grade Heat 1 366m

DOLLY BLOO was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start BARCIA BLUE and DOLLY BLOO collided causing BARCIA BLUE to check FABULOUS WALL. Approaching the halfway point DOLLY BLOO crossed to the inside with FABULOUS WALL checking off the heels of IMA COWBOY, causing FABULOUS WALL to cross to the inside. Passed the halfway point SEND A MESSAGE crossed to the outside.

Race 6 – 5^th Grade Heat 2 366m

Even start. Approaching the halfway point SUPER SOOK crossed to the outside. Passed the halfway point BABY BASSIN crossed to the inside with SPRITELY CHARM tailing off.

The greyhound SPRITELY CHARM was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 7 – 5^th Grade Heat 3 366m

RIVAL STATE was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start OKA’S ANGEL crossed to the inside with SINUK crossing to the outside. Approaching the halfway point BLUE TITAN checked off the heels of RIVAL STATE causing BULL TITAN to check ALPHA ADONIS. Passed the halfway point BULL TITAN checked off the heels of GOLDEN LENNY with FABULOUS KATIE crossing to the inside.

The greyhound SINUK was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

Race 8 – 3/4^th Grade 366m

GUNNA WINK was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start FABULOUS HOPE and WAZZA KING collided. Approaching the halfway point WILD ELITE crossed to the outside. At the halfway point WAZZA KING and IONA CHAMPION were racing tight and bumping. Passed the halfway point LAKODA DAWN crossed to the inside.
