The greyhound VEGAS BOUND performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.09.
The greyhound COSMIC BOSS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.16.
The greyhound OUTSIDE PASS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 431m in a time of 24.95.
The greyhound PIKELET performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.00.
The greyhound COLLIDER GIRL performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.47.
The greyhound INSIDE PASS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.22.
The greyhound HUDSONS BREAK performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.68.
The greyhound BLACK CASPER performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.60.
As the boxes opened COVERT AFFAIR shifted in hampering REMO DANCER causing this greyhound to become unbalanced and lose ground and slow to begin. Entering the turn out of the front straight FOCUS ME was tightened between NAT MAN and GORILLA EYES, resulting in this greyhound losing ground and taken wider on the track. Entering the top turn REMO DANCER checked off the heels of FOCUS ME and lost ground.
DOWN THEY CAME, BRAYLN LUIGI and ANGRY ALICE were best to begin. Shortly after the start BRALYN CHARLIE checked off the heels of MONKEY’S UNCLE. Entering the turn out of the front straight SPRING ESTELLE checked off the heels of BRALYN CHARLIE. Entering the turn out of the back straight MURBAH GOLD checked off the heels of BRALYN LUIGI. Through the top turn BRALYN CHARLIE and MONKEY’S UNCLE bumped. In the home straight SPRING ESTELLE and HOBO JANE made contact.
The greyhound SPRING ESTELLE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. L Waldon that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.
Race 3 – Novice 520m
SKETCHY AIMY was best to begin. Through the straight on the 1st occasion SAPPHIRE LILLY was tightened for room between PEPPER PRINCESS and VISIONARY, both of which shifted forcing SAPPHIRE LILLY to lose ground. Through the 1st turn DEMOLITION JAZ shifted out taking SPSRING BLITZ extremely wide on the track. Entering the back straight PEPPER PRINCESS checked off the heels of BOO BOO CHILD. PEPPER PRINCESS raced wide throughout the home straight.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 431m
IPSWICH MELODY and GRAVITY WOLF were best to begin. SPRING ELIZA was slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn THREADS, ARABIAN MELODY and SO SWANKY were all tightened between SUPER SMOOTH OSTI which shifted out and YALINGA which shifted in. Approaching the top turn SPRING ELIZA checked off the heels of YALINGA which shifted in and lost considerable ground. Entering the home straight ARABIAN MELODY and GRAVITY WOLF made heavy contact causing both greyhounds to become unbalanced. THREADS raced wide throughout the home straight.
The greyhound SPRING ELIZE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – 4/5th
Grade 431m
IT’S MY TIME and MAYWN’S ACE were best to begin. KATE’S CRASH was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SPECIAL GIRL, WALLY’S WAY and BLACKJACK GENT were all tightened for room between IT’S MY TIME and MAYWYN’S ACE, both of which shifted in causing interference to SPECIAL GIRL, WALLY’S WAY and BLACKJACK GENT. Entering the back straight GRIM CREEPER checked off the heels of SPECIAL GIRL, resulting in WALLY’S WAY which was following being checked and falling taking no further competitive part in the event.
The greyhound WALLY’S WAY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 520m
PROUD AS PUNCH was best to begin. BERRY IN LOVE and SPRING FIRECHIEF were slow to begin. Approaching the turn out of the front straight BERRY IN LOVE checked off the heel of GANGNAM STRIDE. Through the 1st turn ROCK ON ROLLA checked off the heels of PASSIVE PROTEST, resulting in GANGNAM STRIDE checking off that greyhound and taken wider on the track.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 520m
ROSDUE BOOMER was best to begin. Shortly after the start GEORGINA was tightened between DASHING CANUTE and CERVELO. Through the 1st turn DASHING CANUTE checked off the heels of ROSDUE BOOMER resulting in that greyhound shifting wider on the track. Entering the top turn HEZ SO FAST checked off the heels of MISS JACKPOT, resulting in that greyhound losing considerable ground. MISS JACKPOT raced wide throughout the home straight.
Race 8 – 5th Grade Final 520m
HOUINDEED was slow to begin. Even start. Shortly after the start HOUINDEED checked off the heels of SHANIA SIND. Entering the turn out of the front straight SHANIA SIND checked off the heels of GOT A BROTHER causing interference to GLOBAL DEEJAY, resulting in that greyhound losing considerable ground. Shortly after DYNAMITE SPEED and ROSDUE DYNAMO bumped forcing both greyhounds to race wider on the track. Entering the top turn AGRO’S GUN and HOUINDEED bumped causing AGRO’S GUN to become unbalanced. DYNAMITE SPEED and AGRO’S GUN bumped entering the home straight.
Race 9 – 4/5th Grade 630m
DAINTY LASS and OKAY YETTA were best to begin. GLASS and MR. REALITY were both slow to begin. Rounding the turn into the front straight on the 1st occasion MR. REALITY shifted out making heavy contact with STARGATE SYSTEM, resulting in that greyhound taken extremely wide on the track. Turning into the front straight on the 1st occasion KILLARA checked off the heels of DAINTY LASS resulting in MISS JAX becoming inconvenienced. Turning out of the front straight GLASS checked off the heels of OKAY YETTA, resulting in OKAY YETTA shifting out taking DAINTY LASS wider on the track. Shortly after MISS JAX checked off the heels of GLASS. On the turn out of the front straight KILLARA checked off the heels of MR. REALITY. In the home straight STARGATE SYSTEM checked across the heels of GLASS causing that greyhound to be inconvenienced.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m
RYLI’S DREAMER and ELITE DESSA were slow to begin. KING’S SON was best to begin. Through the turn into the back straight KLOEIS PRIDE and LUNAR QUEEN bumped. Shortly after LUNAR QUEEN then bumped LA LUCCIOLA. Entering the back straight ESPRESSO SHOT checked off the heels of GLENOIT, resulting in that greyhound losing some ground. In the back straight KLOEIS PRIDE checked off the heels of LA LUCCIOLA forcing that greyhound to cross the heels of LUNAR QUEEN, resulting in that greyhound being taken wider on the track, resulting in further interference to ESPRESSO SHOT with KLOEIS PRIDE and ESPRESSO SHOT almost falling. Entering the top turn LA LUCCIOLA and LUNAR QUEEN made contact resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.
The greyhound KLOEIS PRIDE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound ESPRESSO SHOT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
