The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 5 BURMA SPECIAL Injured in running, near hind webbing, 14 days
Race 8 DARE TO TELL Injured in running, near hind toe, no penalty
Race 10 FAMECHON Injured in running, off side pin, 21 days
Race 10 SKIPAWAY Injured in running, near hind leg, 10 days
The greyhound RUBY’S IN YELLOW performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of
24.88.
The greyhound SIZE WON’T MATTER performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 26.34.
The greyhound SPRING ESTELLE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the 520m in a time of 31.41 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks except Ipswich after 17 July 2015.
VIV was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn MISS CREDIT, VELOCITY AMY, SPRING BEAUTY and DOOLEY’S SPRITE all collided, resulting in SPRING BEAUTY and DOOLEY’S SPRITE losing ground, resulting in VIV being checked. Entering the back straight TILLY NO TAIL checked off the heels of SPRING TWIG losing considerable ground. Entering the home straight TILLY NO TAIL checked off the heels of SPRING BEAUTY losing ground. In the home straight VIV shifted out colliding with TILLY NO TAIL.
DON’T GO was slow to begin. Shortly after the start MY FIRST JOKER checked off the heels of EXPLOSIVE WEAR. Entering the back straight LORRY DRYVA checked off the heels of MACADAM. In the back straight MY FIRST JOKER checked off the heels of EXPLOSIVE WEAR losing ground, resulting in MUGGED ON TOUR who was following also being checked. Entering the top turn MY FIRST JOKER checked off the heels of MUGGED TO TOUR. Entering the home straight MUGGED ON TOUR checked off the heels of EXPLOSIVE WEAR.
Race 3 – Maiden Final 431m
TWO BEERS was best to begin. Through the 1st turn TWO BEERS shifted in checking SISTA TASHA, resulting in further interference to JOKE’S ON ME. At the same time EAT SOME CAKE shifted in checking TWO AND SIXPENCE and TRIER, resulting in TWO AND SIXPENCE losing ground and taking no further competitive part in the event.
The
greyhound TWO AND SIXPENCE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.
Race 4 – Novice 431m
DESIGN BOY was best to begin. Through the 1st turn RYLI’S DREAMER checked off the heels of DESIGN BOY. Also at that stage TEMNICK checked off the heels of SHAYLOR NORRIS, resulting in interference to KIKEM SPRINGER. In the back straight TEMNICK shifted in checking KIKEM SPRINGER. Also at that stage IRISIZE checked off the heels of DESIGN BOY. Through the top turn TEMNICK checked off the heels of MOSS WIN QUEEN.
Race 5 – 5th
Grade 431m
BONNO BEACH was slow to begin. Shortly after the start ARABIAN MELODY and BURMA SPECIAL collided. Entering the back straight SPLIT IT, SKYE BRIDGE and DIANNE’S PEARL all collided. In the back straight BURMA SPECIAL was tightened between DIANNE’S PEARL and SPRING CHOICE, resulting in BURMA SPECIAL losing considerable ground. BONNO BEACH which was following was also hampered. Shortly after this SPRING CHOICE checked off the heels of KING’S SON.
The greyhound BONNO BEACH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The
greyhound BURMA SPECIAL was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
Race 6 – 4/5th
Grade Heat 1 520m
JUST LIKE TINA was best to begin. GATE SLINGER and GIFT BOX were slow to begin. Through the front straight on the 1st occasion BLUE SCORPION was buffered between JUST LIKE TINA and PEARLS ANGEL. Entering the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion GIFT BOX checked off the heels of BLUE SCORPION, resulting in interference to GLOBAL DEEJAY.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade Heat 2 520m
Even start. Shortly after the start PACIFIC HARBOUR shifted in bumping with BAT OUTA HELL. Through the 1st turn BRALYN COOKIE and KING’S GEM made contact. Leaving the 1st turn RUM RAMBLER and PACIFIC HARBOUR raced tight, resulting in PACIFIC HARBOUR being taken wider on the track. Entering the top turn KING’S GEM checked off the heels of BEC’S SECRET, resulting in KING’S GEM losing some ground.
The greyhound PACIFIC HARBOUR was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards interviewed trainer’s representative Mr. B Dunner which was a short priced favourite, in regards to the greyhound’s seemingly disappointing performance. Mr. Dunner stated that once PACIFIC HARBOUR was unable to cross to the fence and was forced to race wider on the track his chances of winning the event were somewhat hampered.
Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 431m
BIG DAC was best to begin. Through the 1st turn BOGIE TOM, HOPPING HOUDINI and DARE TO TELL all collided, resulting in interference to ROYAL ALBERT. In the back straight DARE TO TELL checked off the heels of ROYAL ALBERT causing DARE TO TELL to lose considerable ground. Entering the top turn SWEET AS BETH and OUT WEST raced tight for a short distance. Entering the home straight SWEET AS BETH and DARE TO TELL bumped.
The
greyhound DARE TO TELL was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind toe and was not stood down.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 431m
OAKEY PARK was best to begin. SPRING ELIZA was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn SECRET OCTANE and SPRING ELIZA were both tightened between JOHN SNOW and GOD ONLY KNOWS. In the back straight SECRET OCTANE shifted out checking SO SWANKY and JOHN SNOW, resulting in these greyhounds losing ground. Entering the top turn JOHN SNOW was checked and lost ground when tightened between SPRING ELIZA and GEARS OF WAR.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m
ULTIMATE STAR was best to begin. LUNAR QUEEN and REV SOME MORE were slow to begin. Through the 1st turn BLOO FRANKIE, SKIPAWAY and FAMECHON were all tightened for room and lost ground when SPRING BLUESTONE shifted in. LUNAR QUEEN which was following was also inconvenienced. In the back straight SKIPAWAY lost considerable ground.
The
greyhound FAMECHON was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
The
greyhound SKIPAWAY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
