Stewards noted that the greyhound emerged awkwardly from the boxes and advised that future performances would be closely monitored.

Mrs. Hoggan further stated that the greyhound’s trial times have been similar to the time registered in today’s event and she does expect further improvement from this greyhound going forward. Stewards noted Mrs. Hoggan’s explanation.

When questioned into the improved performance of the greyhound OCTOBER SPRING trainer Mr. K Wray advised that he believed the greyhound had always had ability and he was confident that it could perform as such over the 520m once it had gained some experience over the distance.
