The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 3 CYCLONE JEDI Injured in running, near hind toe, 10 days
The greyhound LEEROY RIPPER performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 24.90 and is now cleared up to 431m only.
The greyhound GOLFING AMY performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.78 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.
The greyhound READY MADE SIZE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.48.
TRANSMEDIA was best to begin. Shortly after the start GUN LEGACY shifted out colliding with ISSY COOL and hampering DRAGON DUK. Approaching the 1st turn UNDERMINER appeared to ease when in clear running and lost ground. DRAGON DUK which was following was hampered. Through the 1st turn TRANSMEDIA was tightened between ISSY COOL and GUN LEGACY and lost ground. HAPPY GEORGE was wide through the 1st turn and back straight.
The
greyhound UNDERMINER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind calf and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
The
greyhound HAPPY GEORGE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
CARTEL QUEEN and GO FOR HOME were slow to begin. Entering the 1st turn RATATAT checked off the heels of TILLY NO TAIL, resulting in inconvenience to GO FOR HOME, CARTEL QUEEN and ROCKING RONNY, all of which lost ground. Shortly after, TILLY NO TAIL and GO BLACK BIDDY collided. Through the 1st turn VELOCITY HILDA shifted in checking GORILLA EYES which lost ground. Approaching the top turn GO BLACK BIDDY tightened GORILLA EYES. Entering the top turn ROCKING RONNY tightened GO FOR HOME. Entering the back straight RATATAT was hampered on the heels of GO BLACK BIDDY.

3 – Novice 431m
GUNNER was best to begin. Through the 1st turn BIG BAGO, PEBBLE BAY, HYPNOTIZED and CYCLONE JEDI were tight and unbalanced. As a result CYCLONE JEDI lost ground and GOOD BYE JOAN which was following was severely inconvenienced. MY MATE LING was wide into the home straight.
The
greyhound CYCLONE JEDI was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

4 – Novice 520m
Even start. Shortly after the start NAPALM and DON’T DOUBLE ME came together. Approaching the top turn NAPALM shifted in hampering SAPPHIRE LILLY. Entering the home straight NAPALM collided with FOCUS ME, which was forced to shift out onto the running of MR. REALITY and BED OF NAILS, both of which were hampered.

5 – 5th Grade 431m
SPLIT UP was best to begin. Through the 1st turn CANDY CRUSH, FLAMINGO LADY and WHIRLY WAY came together and became unbalanced and lost ground. Passing the catching pen GENALAKY RED checked off the heels of SPLIT UP. Shortly after HARA’S SAMUEL checked off the heels of BIG RED DEVIL and collided heavily with COLROB GIRL, which lost ground. BIG RED DEVIL was wide through the back straight.

6 – 5th Grade 520m
HE SAID YES was slow to begin with BARCELLA best. Shortly after the start BERRY IN LOVE was tightened between CYCLONE MARLOW and DEEP DESPAIR. Through the 1st turn JEEPSTER and MINI OREO came together.

7 – 5th Grade 520m
TINY TURBO was slow to begin. Entering the 1st turn KLOEIS PRIDE checked off the heels of PEARLS ANGEL. Through the turn PEARLS ANGEL and BLACK COBIA collided with BLACK COBIA losing ground and KLOEIS PRIDE and TINY TURBO which were following inconvenienced. Leaving the 1st turn NOT LIKE TOMMY shifted out checking BLACK COBIA.

8 – 4/5th Grade 520m
GLASS was slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn WITH A GEE and YALINGA bumped forcing YALINGA out onto the running of ANOA’I, which in turn checked APATITE and forced this greyhound wide through the turn. Entering the back straight YALINGA checked off the heels of POCAHONTAS and APATITE which was following was inconvenienced. Through the top turn MAGIC KITCHEN checked off the heels of POCAHONTAS.
The greyhound APATITE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned on the below market expectation performance of this greyhound trainer Mr. J Price made reference to the interference received by the greyhound throughout the run. In regards to APATITE’S previous impressive time at Ipswich Ms. Price brought to the stewards attention that the greyhound did lead for the entirety of that race, which it was unable to do today. Ms. Price further noted that she may look to give the greyhound a change of track by taking it to Albion Park to compete further. Stewards noted Ms. Price’s comments.

9 – 4/5th Grade 431m
MR. TRANSPORTER and MAYWYN’S ACE were slow to begin. Entering the back straight BLACK STEEL tightened HER’S NOT HIS. Approaching the top turn MAYWYN’S ACE was hampered when improving on the heels of ALEEAH JET. Shortly after, MR. TRANSPORTER shifted in tightening HER’S NOT HIS.
When questioned on the poor performance of MAYWN’S ACE trainer Mr. R Essex noted to stewards that the greyhound does perform at its best when it’s leading the field, which it was unable to do today. He also made reference to the interference suffered by the greyhound in the run and its inability to gain a clear run early in the event. He further advised that he did support the greyhound in this event. Stewards noted Mr. Essex’s comments.

10 – 5th Grade 413m
SUPER LUIGI and JEDI WHIPLASHA were best to begin. Shortly after the start SPEED GUN, WALLY’S WAY and HABANA FLEX came together. Through the 1st turn SPEED GUN, WALLY’S WAY, HABANA FLEX, DOUBLE STORM and ARK UP collided and became unbalanced. Approaching the top turn ALL RIVERS RUN tightened JEDI WHIPLASH which lost ground. SPEED GUN was wide through the top turn. Entering the home straight JEDI WHIPLASH checked off the heels of DOUBLE STORM.
The greyhound JEDI WHIPLASH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
