The greyhound SPRING BEAUTY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned trainer’s representative Mr. J Bowe of NAPALM explained that the greyhound has been given a week off racing to freshen up and as it was its 3rd start back from a lengthy spell they expected a forward showing in today’s race. He further stated that NAPALM had received some interference at its previous 2 starts where in tonight’s event it was able to lead and therefore did not receive any interference. He further stated that the greyhound is a very quick.
