The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 7 IPSWICH MELODY Injured in running, stomach muscles, 21 days
Race 7 GRAVITY WOLF Injured in running, near hind leg, 7 days
The greyhound PROMISES BLUE performed satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 26.37.
SILK SCEPTRE was best to begin. Shortly after the start FONIC THUNDER and GEE MAA collided. MAYWYN NEVER raced wide in the back straight and again in the run to the finish. Approaching the turn into the front straight FONIC THUNDER made heavy contact with the heels of SILK SCEPTRE causing both greyhounds to be checked. Shortly afterwards SILK SCEPTRE and DASHING CHARGER collided resulting in SILK SCEPTRE being checked. Rounding the turn into the front straight HAZY GAZE clipped the heels of SILK SCEPTRE causing SILK SCEPTRE to be checked.
The
greyhound SILK SCEPTRE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
MURSLEY BOUNCER and TRANSMEDIA were best to begin. INDIGO EBBE was tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Approaching the turn into the back straight KITBOOLOU LUCY and MADDY’S RASCAL collided. Rounding the turn into the back straight COVET and FOR ME collided. The muzzle COVET became displaced during the race.

3 – Novice 431m
Even start. Shortly after the start EL MUFASA and TOUCH OF CAJEN collided. Approaching the turn entering the back straight SITELLA, WEST MEAD BLUE, LIL’ BIT COUNTRY, EL MUFASA and TOUCH OF CAJUN all raced tight. Shortly afterwards JAGGER LILLY shifted in contacting EL MUFASA which shifted in and made contact with WEST MEAD BLUE which again shifted in and made contact with SITELLA, which came into contact with SMASHNIAK MARS causing all greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees, resulting in SITELLA falling and taking no further competitive part in the race.
The greyhound SITELLA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

4 – Novice 431m
TEETH GRIEF and SNUBBING UNIT were best to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight TEETH GRIEF, SNUBBING UNIT, SEMI FANTASY and GALLANTRY all raced tight, which all resulted in GALLANTRY being checked and lose ground.

5 – 4/5th Grade Heat 1 431m
THIS TIME REBA and CANE D’ORO were best to begin. Rounding the turn into the back straight FLASH ZOE contacted the heels of PREMIER BEAR resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. CUZZY BROMAC raced wide in the back straight. Leaving the back straight MISTER SISTER checked over the heels of BASHFUL BABE.

6 – 4/5th Grade Heat 2 4631m
Even start. GOLDEN LOTUS was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SHE SAID NO and AL SENOR collided. TIA TWO which was trailing was checked as a result. Shortly afterwards SWITCH BLADE and AL SENOR came together. SHE SAID NO which was trialling was checked as a consequence.

7 – 5th Grade Final 431m
TORQUE FLIGHT was best to begin. IPSWICH MELODY faltered shortly after the start and retired from the race. Approaching the turn into the back straight FIERY BENZ, KAWASAKI ROSE, TUKULA and GRAVITY WOLF all raced tight. GRAVITY WOLF contacted the heels of TUKULA approaching the turn into the back straight and was checked as a consequence. Leaving the back straight GRAVITY WOLF contacted the running rail, was checked and lost considerable ground.
The
greyhound IPSWICH MELODY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
stomach muscles and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
The
greyhound GRAVITY WOLF was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

8 – 4/5th Grade 520m
HOT LIKE SUNSET and DEEP DESPAIR were best to begin. THAT’S INSANE was slow out. Approaching the turn out of the front straight DEEP DESPAIR and BRAGA MCCOY collided, resulting in both greyhounds being checked. Approaching the turn into the back straight NEVER ENDS clipped the heels of GIFT BOX. Shortly afterwards NEVER ENDS collided with THAT’S INSANE causing THAT’S INSANE to be checked and lose ground.

9 – 4/5th Grade Heat 3 431m
SPANKK’S LEGEND and SHE’S A NIRO were best to begin. TRACKIE CHAN and SPRING BLUESTONE collided shortly after the start. Approaching the turn into the back straight OUT WEST and BIG RED DEVIL collided. BIG RED DEVIL raced wide in the back straight.

10 – 4/5th Grade Heat 4 431m
Even start. Shortly after the start HABANA FLEX and TARKS BLACK ROSE came together resulting in TARKS BLACK ROSE being checked. Shortly afterwards HYPNOTIZED and HABANA FLEX collided resulting in both greyhounds being checked. TARKS BLACK ROSE which was trailing was checked as a consequence with DIRTY DESSA being hampered.
The greyhound TARKS BLACK ROSE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
