The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

The greyhound SPACECRAFT performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial for cramping over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.39 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.
The greyhound LADY STARGAZER performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.82.
Even start. Approaching the 1st turn SPRING BLONDE was checked across heels and lost ground and also raced wide from that point. FONIC THUNDER raced wide throughout. NORDOC MAGIC covered a fair and ONIC THUNDER raced tight over the concluding stages.
Even start. Shortly after the start KING SIZED and SPRING BIG IRON were bumped resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. Through the 1st turn PEPE LEPEW was tightened for room and was checked. SNUBBING UNIT which was following also became unbalanced and lost ground. Out of the 1st turn MAYWYN MOOLA was checked from the heels of LIL’ BIT COUNTRY with both greyhounds losing ground in this incident. Rounding the home turn BLACK DASH and SPRING BIG IRON raced tight. SPRING BIG IRON was bumped and lost ground in this incident.

3 – Novice 520m
Even start. Into the 1st turn AUSSIE ALI shifted out bumping KINLOCH DEE, resulting in KINLOCH DEE becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Through the home turn FLYING CIRCUS shifted across the heels of LEGACY CHIEF who was inconvenienced. Through the home turn FLYING CIRCUS shifted across the heels of VEGAS BOUND and was inconvenienced. JAGGER LILLY raced wide throughout.

4 – 5th Grade 431m
HAY YOU BOY was best to begin. Shortly after the start SNOWBALL BAZZA, PEBBLE BAY, RYLI’S CAM and SISTA TASHA all raced tight. Through the 1st turn OKA’S ANGEL checked from heels and lost ground. Approaching the home turn PEBBLE BAY was tightened for room and checked off heels.

5 – 5th Grade 520m
TEXAS TEE and GRIN AND WIN were slow to begin. Into the 1st turn SMASHNIAK GOLD was tightened for room and shifted out. Through the 1st turn PEARLS ANGEL shifted out making contact with BLUE HOUDINI resulting in both greyhounds being inconvenienced and racing wide from that point. Into the home turn BLUE HOUDINI improved onto heels and lost ground.

6 – 4/5th Grade 431m
Even start. Through the 1st turn HARNEY, TOURMALINE and TWO SIZE’S ALL all raced tight. Out of the 1st turn HARNEY was hampered and lost ground. RHY’S RANGA and FEARLESS DUK raced wide for the majority. In the run to the finish HEZ SO FAST raced wide.

BLACK COBIA was best to begin. Shortly after the start GIGGLING BEACH was tightened for room and lost its position. Approaching the 1st turn NOT LIKE TOMMY was bumped.
Stewards afforded Trainer R. Dempsey the
opportunity to comment on tonight’s seemingly poor performance of NOT LIKE
TOMMY. R. Dempsey indicated it was the
first time the bitch had drawn an inside box for some starts and when MAYWYN’S
YING improved up into the inside of the greyhound approaching the 1st
turn, resulting in some buffeting to NOT LIKE TOMMY he was in the view that it
proved detrimental to the overall performance of the greyhound. R. Dempsay further added he was happy with the way greyhound
finished off the event.
The greyhound NOT LIKE TOMMY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

8 – 5th Grade Final 520m
BARCELLA was best to begin. TOYKO SWIFT, GUN LEGACY and SUNNYSIDE JAY were all slow to begin. Into the 1st turn MOCHA LATTE contacted the heels of BARCELLA and shifted out forcing GUN LEGACY out onto the running of TOYKO SWIFT and GOLD ZIVA, resulting in both greyhounds being severely checked and losing considerable ground.
The greyhound TOYKO SWIFT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound GOLD ZIVA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

9 – 5th Grade 520m
SPLIT SYSTEM was best to begin. Shortly after BAD MOON MAGIC was tightened for room and lost it’s position. After the race on the run into the catching pen SPLIT SYSTEM caught heels of another greyhound and fell.
The greyhound SPLIT SYSTEM was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start. Shortly after OUT WEST and LOAD ME UP were tightened for room resulting in LOAD ME UP losing ground. IMA SUAREZ and DOOLEY’S FIT both raced wide for the majority of the event.
