CARRINGTON KENNELS MAIDEN 520M

Even start.  Shortly after the start ARDVARK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  In the front straight on the 1st occasion BEL AIR MIST was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  SPRING BLONDE was hampered as a result of this incident.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight BEL AIR MIST checked off the heels of ARDVARK, shifted out and made contact with DASHING BOND, which in turn shifted out making contact with KILCARNEY DASH, causing all 3 greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees.  KILCARNEY DASH raced wide leaving the front straight.  SPRING BLONDE raced wide in the back straight.

OAKWOOD FARM NOVICE 520M

Even start.  Shortly after the start RED RIVER ROSE and HOPEFUL JACK were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly afterwards OREI DELICIOUS and MAJOR GENERAL collided causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight MADAM’S FLASH’S and SKITTISH EXPRESS were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after RED RIVER ROSE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight MADAM’S FLASH’S and HOPEFUL JACK collided causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.

BELIX CONSTRUCTIONS 5th GRADE 520M

Even start.  OREO DELIGHT was tightened for racing room shortly after the start, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after MURBAH GOLD was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight OUR BEACH GIRL and VELOCITY MYSTIC collided causing VELOCITY MYSTIC to be checked and lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight GIFTED ANGEL and MURBAH GOLD were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after PROUD AS PUNCH was tightened when OUR BEACH GIRL shifted out, resulting in PROUD AS PUNCH being checked and losing ground.  Leaving the back straight OREO DELIGHT and MURBAH GOLD raced tight resulting in both greyhounds being hampered.

CRISP PANEL & PAINT 4/5th GRADE 520M

APATITE was best to begin.  FYRE GAL was slow to begin.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight MACIE’S DINGO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leading into the back straight MACIE’S DINGO made heavy contact with the hindquarters of DEEP DESPAIR causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose considerable ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight RICH ‘N’ WILD and KNIGHTS TEMPLAR collided causing RICH ‘N’ WILD to be checked and lose momentum.

VINCE CURRY MEMORIAL MAIDEN SEMI FINAL 1 520M

CHILLED HEAT was best to begin.  Shortly after the start FRENDY shifted out and made contact with ON THE CLOCK, causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose considerable ground.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight DODGY DANCER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight DODGY DANCER and TIP YA CAP collided causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Leaving the back straight CHILLED HEAT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

VINCE CURRY MEMORIAL MAIDEN SEMI FINAL 2 520M

PAUA TO AVOID was best to begin.  Leaving the front straight SMASHNIAK MARCY, WITCH HUNTER, MY NAME’S JEFF and BIG DIPPA all raced tight causing all Greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees.  MY NAME’S JEFF raced wide in the back straight.  In the run to the finish MY NAME’S JEFF turned its head and made muzzle contact with BIG DIPPA.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. L Lewis that the greyhound MY NAME’S JEFF would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days + satisfactory steward’s trial over 520m all tracks.

VINCE CURRY MEMORIAL MAIDEN SEMI FINAL 3 520M

THIRTY TALKS was best to begin.  Shortly after the start CINCINNATI JUICE shifted out and made contact with GOLDEN KHAN causing both greyhounds to be checked and GOLDEN KHAN losing some ground.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight FONIC THUNDER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight CINCINNATI JUICE and FONIC THUNDER collided causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  OBI KENOBI and VAN GISBERBEN were checked as a result of this incident.  In the back straight CYNO SNIP and tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  CYNO SNIP raced wide in the front straight.  In the back straight CYNO SNIP, FONIC THUNDER and VAN GISBERGEN collided causing each greyhound to be checked and lose ground.

VINCE CURRY MEMORIAL MAIDEN SEMI FINAL 4 520M

CAVALCADE was best to begin.  Shortly after the start CYNO MIRAGE shifted up which tightened the racing room of KATIE GELZINNIS, VELOCITY SONIA, NOIRE CHERIE, BEC’S DIAMOND and LUCKY SALLY, causing all greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees.  Leaving the front straight PUNCH RIGHT OUT, CYNO MIRAGE, BEC’S DIAMOND and LUCKY SALLY all raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds being checked to varying degrees.  Approaching the turn into the back straight PUNCHRIGHT OUT and VELOCITY SONIA collided causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose considerable ground.  NOIRE CHERIE was checked as a result of this incident.

WHEELYS EARTHMOVING/IDGGIT PLANT HIRE 4/5th GRADE 431M

HOPPING HOUDINI was best to begin.  Approaching the turn into the back straight BRAE GIFT was tightened for racing room, severely checked and lost considerable ground.  COLD HARD TRUTH, SPRING DREAM and FAR FROM FEAR were all checked as a result of this incident.  Entering the back straight COLD HARD TRUTH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

IPSWICH COUNTRY CLUB 5th GRADE 431M

Even start.  Approaching the turn into the back straight DOOHAN TIME and SHAYLOR NORRIS bumped, resulting in both greyhounds being hampered.  POCAHONTAS and HEZA SIZE UP were hampered as a result of this incident.
