The greyhound DON’T JOSH ME failed stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m.

The greyhound ALLEAH’S WARRIOR performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.63 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

 

 

RACE REPORTS

 

 

1.

PENNYLESS and MAKE THE MOST were best to begin.  SPEAR IT, AGUERO TEXADA and WITCH HUNTER were slowest.  Shortly after SHE’S SO SHADY shifted out bumping KAWATI AS.  Both greyhounds became unbalanced.  Through the 1st turn AGUERO TEXADA was inconvenienced and lost ground.  Approaching the back turn SHE’S SO SHADY improved onto the heels of MAKE THE MOST losing its position.  Over the concluding stage KAWATI AS failed to pursue the lure inconveniencing PENNYLESS which was racing to its inside.

 

Stewards advised trainer Ms. L Neal that the greyhound KAWATI AS would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M

FRENDY began awkwardly and shifted out abruptly.  Into the 1st turn PARTY FOR TWO, STILL COMING and BIG DIPPA collided.  All greyhounds were checked and lost ground.  FRENDY and UNIQUE KALEESI raced wide in the back and home straights.

 

The greyhound SPRING SHANAE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound UNIQUE KALEESI was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK MAIDEN 431M

FERNLEE STAR was very slow to begin.  Into the 1st turn there was tightened between CRUDE OIL, POPULAR BELIEF, SPRING LOLA, FONIC THUNDER, DASHING TEXADA and STEP LIKE HAYNE, resulting in STEP LIKE HAYNE losing ground. As a result ARE YOU THERE improved onto the heels of STEP IKE HAYNE with STEP LIKE HAYNE being inconvenienced.  Leaving SPRING LOLA blundered and lost ground.  Approaching the back turn CRUDE OIL and FERNLEE STAR were hampered for room and both lost ground.  In the home straight STEP LIKE HAYNE shifted out and bumped SPRING LOLA.  FONIC THUNDER, ARE YOU THERE and DASHING TEXADA all raced wide in the back and home straights.

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM NOVICE 431M

TECHNO LEGEND was best to begin.  Shortly after the start BLACK DASH shifted in tightening the running of IMA TALEND and DOOLEY’S HOBO with IMA TALENT losing ground.  Approaching the back turn TECHNO LEGEND  was inclined to shift wider on the track with DOOLEY’S HOBO shifting in towards the rail, resulting in TECHNO LEGEND clipping heels.  Rounding the home turn IMA TALENT and BLACK DASH collided resulting in IMA TALENT becoming unbalanced.  TECHNO LEGEND raced wide in both straights.

 

Stewards advised trainer M. G Heaton that the greyhound TECHNO LEGEND would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks prior to nominating.

5.

SCOTT O’TOOLE PAINTER 5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M

PAW DIDEMIS was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start RYLI’S CAM was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Through the 1st turn NOOREE DESSA shifted in making contact with RYLI’S CAM becoming unbalanced causing NOOREE DESSA to shift out bumping HARA’S SIZZLE.  STORM ROSE HI was also inconvenienced in this incident.  CHEEKY CHEECH and HARA’S BRACELET raced wide in the back straight.  CHEEKY CHEECH was wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound HARA’S SIZZLE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind toe and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

6.

O’REILLY PET FOODS 5TH GRADE 520M

DEEP DESPAIR was best to begin.  HOUDINI HI was slowest.  Approaching the 1st turn BEACH FRONT shifted in checking GIFTED ANGEL.  As a result BEACH FRONT became unbalanced, shifted out and made heavy contact with HOUDINI HI, causing BEACH FRONT and HOUDINI HI to lose considerable ground.  Shortly after PREMIER JET raced extremely wide through the 1st turn and the middle stages of the event.

C2C CONSTRUCTIONS 3/4th GRADE 431M

MELODY SERENADE was slow to begin.  In the back straight SUNDAY SUNRISE raced wide.  In the home straight MELODY SERERADE raced wide.

GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 4/5th GRADE FINAL 431M

GET INVOLVED was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start DOWN THEY CAME was tightened for room, checked and lost ground.  As a consequence DON’T DOUBLE UP shifted out bumping FARMOR MAYHEM, which in turn bumped HER’S NOT HIS, resulting in HER’S NOT HIS losing ground.  GET INVOLVED was also hampered and inconvenienced in this incident.  Approaching the back turn FARMOR EYE AM commenced to give ground and finished a considerable distance from the remainder of the field.  Entering the home straight DOWN THEY CAME checked across the heels of GET INVOLVED and was momentarily hampered.  FARMOR MAYHEM and GET INVOLVED raced wide in the back straight.  DOWN THEY CAME raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound FARMOR EYE AM was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near fore leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Even start.  Shortly after SPRING OUT was tightened and lost its position.  /through the 1st turn SPRING OUT and REBBLE ROSE HI were checked.  Both lost ground.  TRANSMEDIA and WILD ELITE both raced wide for the majority.
