Even start.  Shortly after FLASHING FERGO and HUNTER’S A STAR bumped.  Approaching the back turn FLASHING FERGO was tightened and lost its position.  Over the concluding stages BENMESSO and GUY FAWKES bumped.  HUNTER’S A STAR, THROTTLE ON and WILDASH GEE raced wide in the back and home straights.

 

The greyhound BENMESSO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M

STRIKE OIL was best to begin with CALAMITY JANE slow.  In the 1st turn NIGHTMINDS shifted out making contact with ICE PANTHER resulting in KNIGHTMINDS being severely checked losing considerable ground.  ICE PANTHER, ELITE MARJ and CALAMITY JANE all suffered interference and lost ground in this incident.  Approaching the back turn ICE PANTHER checked across the heels of BENTAXLE.  STRIKE OIL, BENTAXLE and CALAMITY JANE raced wide in the back straight.  SHOTGUN and ICE PANTHER raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound NIGHTMINDS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK NOVICE 431M

PHANTOM LAD was slow to begin.  Into the 1st turn there was tightened between UNIQAYE KALEESI, KURO LOU, GUN DANCER, IMPOSSIBLE and NAOMI ROSE HI,  all suffered interference to various degrees,  NAN’S NIRO which was following was checked.  Approaching the back turn GUN DANCER and NAN’S NIRO collided and both lost ground.  GUN DANCER raced wide for the majority.

INNER WISDOM and CASH EXPLOSION were best to begin,  DON’T GO QUIETLY was slowest.  Approaching the back turn RIVAL STATE shifted in tightening the running of DON’T GO QUIETLY and ALAN’S KIDZ, resulting in DON’T GO QUIETLY becoming momentarily unbalanced.  Through the back turn ALAN’S KIDZ checked across the heels of DON’T GO QUIETLY and lost ground.

SCOTT O’TOOLEY PAINTER 4/5th GRADE FINAL 431M

Even start.  Into the 1st turn PETITE ZIP ZIP shifted in contacting the heels of BORN LEGACY resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced.  Leaving the back turn SPRING CHOICE checked across the heels of STORM ROSE HI and lost its position.  Approaching the back turn CALL ME AUSSIE improved onto the heels of BORN LEGACY and lost ground,  CHARLIE LYNDAN and FABRICATED which were racing to its outside were inconvenienced as a result.

REPTAR was slow to begin.  Shortly after SWITCH BLADE was crowded for room and lost its position.  Through the 1st turn DASH OF FAITH checked across the heels of SWITCH BLADE.  UNIQUE GHOSTY raced wide for the majority.

C2C CONSTRUCTIONS 5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M

QUE SERA and WILDASH WILDBOY were best to begin.  NINA ROSE HI was slowest.  Leaving the 1st turn GUMTREE KID checked off the heels of PATRONUS and lost ground as a result.  In the back straight PATRONUS shifted in tightening the running of QUE SERA, causing that greyhound to lose ground.  Approaching the back turn GUMTREE KID improved onto the heels of SWITCHIN’ SIDES causing GUMTREE KID to lose ground.  Entering the home straight GUMTREE KID bumped SWITCHIN’ SIDES.  SWITCHIN’ SIDES lost ground in this incident.  VIRUNGA and WILDASH WILDBOY were wide in the back straight and QUE SERA was wide in the home straight.

GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 5th GRADE HEAT 2 431M

FYRE GAL was slow to begin.  Shortly after THIS TIME MADDIE, RHONDDA MINER and PURELY PENNY raced tight resulting in RHONDDA MINER being hampered.  Through the 1st turn RHONDDA MINER, PURELY PENNY, BETOWN GEM, CASEY UNDERCOVER and MIRANDA ROSE HI raced tight, resulting in CASEY UNDERCOVER being hampered losing ground.  Leaving the 1st turn BETOWN GEM checked off the heels of MIRANDA ROSE HI.  Approaching the back turn RHONDDA MINER shifted in checking CASEY UNDERCOVER causing RHONDDA MINER to run wide through the turn.  In the back straight BETOWN GEM raced wide.  In the home straight RHONDDA MINER raced wide.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK 5th GRADE HEAT 3 431M

MAYWYN WILL WIN was best to begin with CUPPA TEA KIWI slowest.  Through the 1st turn there was general tightening between HASSIE’S HASSLE, STUBBORN STATE, SIZEABLE, PROTO PENNY and CUPPA TEA KIWI, resulting in all these greyhounds losing ground and WILD ELITE lost considerable ground.  Approaching the home turn HASSIE’S HASSLE checked off the heels of STUBBORN STATE causing SIZEABLE to be checked and CUPPA TEA KIWI to be severely hampered as a result.  PROTO PENNY and MAYWYN WILL WIN raced wide in the back straight.  WILD ELITE and MAYWYN WILL WIN were wide in the home straight.

GET INVOLVED was slow to begin.  Shortly after ON THE RIZE, KING’S GEM and BAIDEN ROSE HI were tightened,  BAIDEN ROSE HI lost ground in this incident.  Through the 1st turn DODGY DANCER and OUTBACK FLYER bumped.  Leaving the 1st turn KING’S GEM was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Through the back turn OUTBACK FLYER, BAIDEN ROSE HI and KING’S GEM raced tight causing OUTBACK FLYER to lose ground and KING’S GEM to shift wider on the track.  DODGY DANCER raced wide for the majority.
