MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M ISLA’S STYLE was best to begin. Shortly after the start FROSTY AMY was
tightened for room and hampered. DOWN
SIZED UP shifted in in the early stages tightening the running of CYNO SNIP,
GEMMA BENZ and GALLON of which all 4 runners were checked. HUNTER’S A STAR and FROSTY AMY which were trailing
GALLON were checked as a result. FROSTY AMY then shifted out and collided
with BARTHOLOMEW. On entering the back
straight HUNTER’S A STAR was tightened for room and hampered. In the back straight GEMMA BENZ and GALLON
collided resulting in both runners being checked. Through the turn into the front straight
GEMMA BENZ checked across the heels of BARTHOLOMEW. CYNO SNIP raced wide in the back
straight. HUNTER’S A STAR raced wide
in the front straight. |

RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 431M FROSTY AJAY and MADIES best were
best to begin. Shortly after the start
KIRRALI GROVE, KENT METROPULOS and LOGAN CITY all collided resulting in
KIRRALI GROVE and KENT METROPULOS being checked. Shortly after KIRRALI GROVE and KENT
METROPULOS collided resulting in both greyhounds being checked. Through the turn into the back straight
SECRET RIVER was tightened for room, shifted out and collided with MADIES
which was taken out and collided with OUTBACK MYSTERY resulting in MADIES and
OUTBACK MYSTERY being checked. On entering the back straight KENT METROPULOS
was tightened for room and hampered. KENT
METROPULOS and OUTBACK MYSTERY collided on several occasions in the front
straight. KIRRALI GROVE and MADIES
collided in the back straight. SECRET
RIVER raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound MADIES underwent a
post race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to
the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

BANK MAIDEN HEAT 3 431M VEE
BEE DOOLEY and COME TOGETHER were best to begin. OUTBACK SUNSHINE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SHOTGUN and SURF
CATCHER collided. Through the turn
into the back straight OUTBACK SUNSHINE improved onto the heels of ISLA’S
OPAL and shifted out colliding with SURF CATCHER resulting in both runners
being checked. SHOTGUN which was trailing
was checked as a result. Leaving the
back straight ISLA’S OPAL collided with the running rail. SPRING MIA which was trailing was checked
as a result. SHOTGUN raced wide in the
front straight. The
greyhound ISLA’S OPAL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

ALPHA FINANCIAL SERVICES MAIDEN
FINAL 431M INVERGARRY LADY and BUBBLE GUPPY
were best to begin. Shortly after the
start FROSTY O’REILLY was tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn into the back straight
BUBBLE GUPPY and INVERGARRY LADY collided resulting in INVERGARRY LADY being
checked. MUTTON which was trailing was
checked and forced out wider on the track.
Shortly after FROSTY ZERO and FROSTY O’REILLY collided resulting in
both runners being checked. Leaving
the back straight FROSTY ZERO collided with the running rail. LANCASTER BOMBER and FROSTY O’REILLY which
were trailing were both checked as a result.
Leaving the turn into the front straight FROSTY O’REILLY shifted in
and collided with FROSTY ZERO. |

TYRE SERVICE NOVICE 431M DUFFY’S BEACH, JAYDEN’S A STAR and
FROSTY BROWN were slow to begin.
Shortly after the start SNEAKIN’ OUT and IMA TALENT collided. On entering the back straight IMA TALENT
was tightened for room and checked.
Leaving the back straight IMA TALENT was tightened for room and checked. Leaving the back straight into the turn
NEDRO GIRL suffered an injury and took no further part in the event. FROSTY BROWN raced wide in the back
straight. The greyhound NEDRO GIRL underwent a
post race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to
the off side hock and was humanely euthanized. |

GOLDEN VIE GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th
GRADE 520M LONESOME DUK was best to begin. CYNO GENERAL and ARABELLA were slow to
begin. On entering the 1st
turn LONESOME DUK shifted in tightening the running of INNER WISDOM which was
forced to check across the heels of LONESOME DUK. ALOTA AMY which was trailing was hampered
as a result. SUNNYSIDE JAY collided
with BLACK RHINO which then shifted out and collided with CYNO GENERAL
resulting in BLACK RHINO and CYNO GENERAL being checked. Through the turn into the back straight
ARABELLA, TRULY UNIQUE and ALOTA AMY all collided resulting in TRULY UNIQUE
and ALOTA AMY being checked. Leaving
the back straight into the turn CYNO GENERAL and TRULY UNIQUE collided
resulting in both greyhounds being checked.

& CO 3/4th GRADE 431M BRALYN BAUPLE and HARRY BAILEY were
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
LUCY BENZ was tightened for room and checked.
On entering the 1st turn ARK UP, TWO BEERS, SILVER WING and
CALL ME AUSSIE all raced tight resulting in SILVER WING and TWO BEERS being
checked. On entering the back straight
ARK UP checked out across the heels of CALL ME AUSSIE. HEZ SO FAST raced wide in the back and
front straights. Out of the back
straight into the turn SILVER WING was tightened for room and checked. HARRY BAILEY was hampered when tightened
for room. |

TIME REBA, DOOLEY’S HOBO, SPRING BIG IRON and CHAMPAGNE BENZ all collided
resulting in SPRING BIG IRON and DOOLEY’S HOBO being checked and THIS TIME
REBA being hampered. SPRING FIRECHIEF
raced wide in the front straight. |

begin. ONYA BENZ was slow to
begin. Shortly after the start STRIKE
OIL and GUN DANCER collided resulting in GUN DANCER shifting out and
colliding with SPRING IT ON. Shortly
after SPRING IT ON shifted in tightening the running of STRIKE OIL which was
hampered. Through the turn into the
front straight STRIKE OIL shifted out resulting in GUN DANCER checking across
the heels of that runner. GUN DANCER
raced wide in the back straight. |

the turn into the back straight TABBERER was tightened for room and hampered. Out of the turn into the back straight
COSMIC LAPTOP and KURO LOU collided.
On entering the back straight SNOW RUNNER was tightened for room and
checked. COSMIC LAPTOP raced wide in
