TRIALS
Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound MISTER STUBBORN performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.90.

RACE REPORTS
1.	WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M SCINTILLATIN SAL and CHIPPIE ROSE HI were best to begin. MADRE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SCINTILLATIN SAL and CHIPPIE ROSE HI bumped resulting in SCINTILLATIN SAL was momentarily hampered. SPRING REMI which was trailing checked outwards to avoid its heels. LAZZA MANAZZA which was trailing SPRING REMI was checked as a result of this incident. SUPER FLICK shifted out wide on the turn to avoid those runners. Entering the turn out of the back straight FREE PRESS contacted the heels of SUPER FLICK resulting in both resulting in both runners to be momentarily hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight FREE PRESS contacted the hindquarters of MADRE resulting in both runners to be severely checked and lose ground. SUPER FLICK raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. The greyhound MADRE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2.	SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 431M SWARAVSKI was best to begin. TOPAZ TAN was marginally slow to begin. At the start ADAM ROSE HI and TOPAZ TAN bumped resulting in TOPAZ TAN to be momentarily hampered. Through the first turn CATCH ME KEITH was tightened for room and severely checked. WINGMAN HUTCH and ADAM ROSE HI which were trailing were checked as a consequence. Also in this incident VELOCITY BARINA was severely checked and lost considerable ground. Through the turn into the front straight TOPAZ TAN was tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight ADAM ROSE HI checked off heels. The greyhound VELOCITY BARINA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

3.	ALPHA 390 FINANCE MAIDEN FINAL 431M THUG was marginally slow to begin. Through the turn into the back straight RATHNAIT was tightened for room and hampered. Entering the turn out of the back straight POSSESSION was tightened for room and checked. RATHNAIT which was trailing improved onto that runner, was severely checked, fell and took no further competitive part in the event. Rounding the turn into the front straight PARTY EVERY DAY checked off heels. The greyhound RATHNAIT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

4.	WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM NOVICE 431M KALANI KARL and FOXY BE GOOD were best to begin. Entering the first turn BRONCO BOY was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after GALWAY EAGLE and SHADOW EDGE collided resulting in GALWAY EAGLE to shift inwards and make contact with the running rail. Both greyhounds were checked as a result of this incident. Through the first turn TIM AND NIEL were tightened for room and checked. GAS UP ISA and DYNAMO BLUE which were trailing that runner were checked as a consequence. Rounding the turn into the back straight BRONCO BOY checked off heels. Entering the turn out of the back straight FOXY BE GOOD was tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn into the front straight DYNAMO BLUE contacted the hindquarters of FOXY BE GOOD resulting in that runner to be checked and shift outwards into the front straight. GAS UP ISA which was trailing FOXY BE GOOD was checked and forced out wide with that runner as a consequence. In the front straight SHADOW EDGE was wide. The greyhound GALWAY EAGLE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

5.	TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS 5^th GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of SPRING LOYAL which was slowly away. Approaching the first turn KAWATI SON, SAIL SURFER and LONESOME HERO were tightened for room and checked. In the back straight KAWATI SON and LONESOME HERO were wide. Through the turn into the front straight SPRING LOYAL contacted the hindquarters of MYRNIONG FLOYD resulting in that runner to be hampered and shift outwards. LONESOME HERO which was trailing those runners shifted outwards to avoid their heels. In the home straight KAWATI SON was wide.

6.	O’REILLY PET FOOD 5^th GRADE HEAT 1 520M PRATER’S PROMISE and WITHCOTT FLYER were best to begin with BNALONG ROAD and AZTEC FLASH slowly away. Approaching the turn out of the front straight SOFT SAND, OLD MOON MADNESS, GADSBY’S ROAD and WITHCOTT FLYER were all tightened for room resulting in SOFT SAND to be hampered and shift outwards on the turn, OLD MOON MADNESS to be momentarily hampered, WITHCOTT FLYER to be checked and shift outwards on the turn and GADSBY’S ROAD to be checked and lose ground. BINALONG ROAD which was trailing shifted outwards to avoid those runner’s heels and in doing so made contact with AZTEC FLASH causing that runner to be checked and shift out wide on the turn. Rounding the turn into the back straight OLD MOON MADNESS contacted the hindquarters of GADSBY’S ROAD resulting in OLD MOON MADNESS to be checked and shift outwards. WITHCOTT FLYER which was racing to the outside of OLD MOON MADNESS was checked as a consequence. Entering the back straight BINALONG ROAD shifted out wide resulting in WITHCOTT FLYER which was racing to its outside to be hampered as a consequence.

Through the first turn ASTIN’S WARRIOR bumped CASEY MINI ME resulting in that runner to be hampered and shift outwards. In the back straight CASEY MINI ME shifted inwards and collided with THROTTLE ON resulting in THROTTLE ON to be hampered and CASEY MINI ME to be checked and lose ground. Entering the turn out of the back straight SECOND GEAR checked off heels.

8.	C2C CONSTRUCTIONS BEST 8 431M Even start. Entering the first turn HOOP DREAMS was tightened for room, checked and shifted outwards colliding with SUITE ALEXIS. As a result SUITE ALEXIS was checked, shifted outwards and collided with WILDASH WILDBOY who in turn collided with CHULU CHULULU. WILDASH WILDBOY and CHULU CHULULU were severely checked and lost considerable ground as a result of this incident. At the same time as this incident LONESOME DUK was tightened for room and checked. Rounding the turn into the back straight PRINCESS EMALYS was tightened for room and severely checked. Approaching the turn into the front straight WILDASH WILDBOY bumped SUITE ALEXIS resulting in that runner to be checked and lose ground. In the back straight LONESOME DUK and SUITE ALEXIS were wide.

9.	GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 5^th GRADE HEAT 2 520M SHAYLOR ANDRE was best to begin. Shortly after the start SALUDOS was tightened for room and checked. Entering the first turn SIZEABLE was tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Rounding the first turn ALPHA HECTOR and SALUDOS were wide. Entering the back straight SHAYLOR ANDRE shifted inwards which resulted in SHUNT MAN to make contact with its heels. SHAYLOR ANDRE was hampered and SHUNT MAN was checked and shifted outwards as a result of this incident. Over the concluding stages of the event SHAYLOR ANDRE was tightened for room and hampered. The greyhound BLAZE ROSE HI underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Through the 1^st turn SHAYLOR BART and HARRY BENZ were tightened for room and checked. SPARK YOU UP which was trailing HARRY BENZ was checked as a consequence. Shortly after SPRING SHELLEY was tightened for room and severely checked. HARRY BENZ which was trailing that runner was severely checked and lost ground as a consequence. Entering the turn out of the back straight BIG BAD BOB bumped YOU JANE resulting in that runner to be checked and shift outwards. RANGER DANGER which was trailing YOU JANE improved onto that runner resulting in both to be checked and lose ground.
