Stewards Trial 1 – 520m

The greyhound THIRTY EIGHT failed stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m.

 

The greyhound UNDER ADVICE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.88 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

The greyhound PHANTOM HENRY performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.14 and is now cleared all tracks.

LAZZA MANAZZA was best to begin.  Shortly after the start CATCH ME KEITH and SHEZA SHOCKER collided and hampered.  In the 1st turn SHAYLOR RENE and CATCH ME KEITH collided with SHEZA SHOCKER trailing resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the back straight SHAYLOR RENE was checked and hampered.  Entering the back straight SHAYLOR RENE collided with the running rail and lost ground.  In the back straight CATCH ME KEITH and FROSTY BLACK JAY ran wide.

 

The greyhound SHAYLOR RENE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M

BUD’S DELIGHT was best to begin.  Shortly after the start TECHNO’S GLORY, AFFLICTION and SUPER FLICK collided resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.  In the 1st turn SUPER FLICK was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight AFFLICTION and TERRANORA bumped.  At the same time TECHNO’S GLORY clipped heels and shifted out colliding with SUPER FLICK resulting in SUPER FLICK to lose ground with TECHNO’S GLORY to fall and give no further competitive part in the race.  Entering the turn into the home straight METRO MANILA clipped the heels of FREE PRESS resulting in FREE PRESS to lose ground.  In the home straight SIN CITY KITTY and SUPER FLICK ran wide.

 

The greyhound TECHNO’S GLORY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ROSDUE AVALON, WHITE EAGLE and DOUBLE OAK were best to begin.  Shortly after the start DOUBLE OAK shifted in colliding with WHITE EAGLE and HESA REBEL resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.  In the 1st turn AGENDA was tightened for racing room, WHITE EAGLE which was trailing resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight SURE SHOT was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Leaving the top turn AGENDA clipped heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound SHOT TO FAME underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

RULE THE ROAD was best to begin with DAD’S THE WORK and SPIFFY slow.  Shortly after the start SENTRY’S CALL and MAYWYN EMERALDS bumped.  In the 1st turn SENTRY’S CALL and MAYWYN EMERALDS collided resulting in SENTRY’S CALL to lose ground.  Leaving the 1st turn ARFA SHOW OUT clipped heels and was hampered.  Rounding the turn into the back straight NEDGO PRINCESS and RULE THE ROAD collided resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground.

 

The greyhound NEDGO PRINCESS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M

CAPRA ROSS was best to begin.  Shortly after the start DAHOMEY WILDWIND was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Leaving the 1st turn LALIQUE clipped heels and lost ground.  At the same time KALANI KARL and KYLE THE TANK collided resulting in both greyhounds to be lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight LUCKY SALLY and WHAT A MESS bumped.  Entering the back straight WHAT A MESS clipped heels and shifted out and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight DAHOMEY WILDWIND clipped heels and was hampered.  In the home straight ASTIN’S WARRIOR ran wide.

 

The greyhound DAHOMEY WILDWIND underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

 

Stewards questioned trainer Mr. J Geoghegan regarding the performance of CAPRA ROSS.  Mr. Geoghegan stated that the greyhound was out graded in Tasmania and, had trailed quite well and returning back from a spell of 2 months and he had not supported the greyhound.

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE HEAWT 2 431M

SHAKEY RANDLE was best to begin with LITE ME UP slow. Shortly after the start LITE ME UP and RICHMOND ROAD bumped resulting in LITE ME UP to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight RICHMOND ROAD and KINDA HOT bumped. In the back straight LITE ME UP and OH GOLLY GOSH  bumped. Entering the top turn OH GOLLY GOSH got on to the hind quarters of THROTTLE ON resulting in both greyhounds to run wide and loose ground. Entering the turn into the home straight LITE ME UP clipped heels and was hampered.

 

The greyhound OH GOLLY GOSH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

WITHCOTT FLYER, LONESOME HERO and MAYWYN PROMISES were best to begin.  Shortly after the start SIX GUN and SANTA CLAWS bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the 1st turn BINALONG ROAD, BEC’S DIAMOND and WITHCOTT FLYER collided with SIX GUN and SANTA CLAWS which were trailing resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the back straight SIX GUN shifted out colliding with LONESOME HERO and MONDELLA resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.  In the top turn WITHCOTT FLYER was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the back straight LONESOME HERO and MAYWYN PROMISES were wide.  In the home straight LONESOME HERO was wide.

 

The greyhound SIX GUN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

BUNDY CUTTER and BOGIE TEEJAY were best to begin with COSMIC REVENGE and BLACK AMEX slow.  In the 1st turn all greyhounds collided resulting in losing ground to differing degrees.  In the top turn BOGIE TEEJAY and TITLE bumped.  Leaving the top turn SPECIAL VIRTUE clipped heels and lost ground with COSMIC REVENGE running wide.

Even start.  In the 1st turn THURSDAY WISH and SPRING SHANAE bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the front straight on the 1st occasion WATCH OUT RENALD and SKY BOND collided resulting in both greyhounds to shift out wide and lose ground.  In the top turn WATCH OUT RENALD and SPRING SHANAE bumped result in both greyhounds to be hampered.  Approaching the finishing line DUDE PERFECT and NASH TATO bumped.

WAIKARIE MAGIC, DRAGON DANCER and COSMIC LAPTOP were best to begin with LIL’ BIT SPARKY slow.  In the 1st turn COMMANDER CLOUD, VELOCITY CLOVER, ROSDUE BLUE Gum and ROYAL ALBERT all collided resulting in COMMANDER CLOUD to lose ground.  In the back straight ROYAL ALBERT and ROSDUE BLUE GUM were wide.  In the top turn LIL’ BIT SPARKY was tightened for racing room with ROSDUE BLUE GUM trailing which resulted in both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight DRAGON DANCER and COSMIC LAPTOP bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered.
