start with the exception of MR. RALPH which was slow to begin. Entering the back straight BLAZIN’ CRUSHER
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight FARMOR IN TIME
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. BONDI GIRL and MR. RALPH which were trailing
were checked as a consequence and lost ground. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT
2 431M Even start with the exception of INOUNO which was slow to
begin. Shortly after the start MADRE
shifted out and collided with VIKING WHITE which in turn shifted out and
collided with SNOWBALL CREED resulting in both SNOWBALL CREED and VIKING
WHITE to be checked and lose ground.
Shortly after EBONNIE and ALPHA PHOEBE collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight ALPHA PHOEBE and MADRE
collided resulting in MADRE to be severely checked and lose considerable
ground. ALPHA PHOEBE was severely
checked and fell taking no further part in the race. EBONNIE and INOUNO which were trailling was
checked as a consequence and lost ground.
INOUNO raced wide rounding the home turn. The greyhound ALPHA PHOEBE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound MADRE underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

start. Shortly after the start BLAZING
and SNOWBALL OTTO were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Shortly after METRO MANILA and
BARNEY’S BOUNTY collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight SNOWBALL OTTO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Leaving the back straight

NOVICE 431M Even start with the exception of TEFLON FLYER which was
marginally slow to begin. Through the
1st turn ENZO JAZZ, TOKEN TOFF and STAR RISE were all tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn into the back straight GAS UP ISA eased, turned its
head inwards towards the direction of WILDASH PEBBLES. WILDASH PEBBLES was checked as a result of
this incident. The greyhound GAS UP ISA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. M Edwards that
the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. The greyhound LAZZA MANAZZA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

TYRE REPAIRS 5th GRADE 431M SPRING HOUDINI and DU HAST were best to begin. SPRING BEK and PRINCESS IVY was slow to
begin. Through the 1st turn
LIL MISS PINKY and VELOCITY CLOVER collided resulting in VELOCITY CLOVER to
be checked and lose ground. At the
same time SPRINK BEK and PRINCESS IVY collided resulting in PRINCESS IVY to
be checked and lose ground. Leaving
the back straight PRINCESS IVY shifted in and made contact with the running
rail and lost ground. LIL MISS PINKY
raced wide rounding the turn into the home straight and again in the front
straight. The greyhound PRINCESS IVY underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M The start of this race was delayed approximately 5
minutes due to a malfunction with the lure. Even start.
Shortly after the start HARBOUR DRIVE and ROSDUE GOANNA collided
resulting in ROSDUE GOANNA to be checked and lose ground. Leaving the front straight THUNDER OF FIRE
and HARBOUR DRIVE were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. JUST MY SIZE which was
trialling was checked as a consequence and raced wide. ROSDUE GOANNA which was racing to the
outside of JUST MY SIZE was checked resulting in both ROSDUE GOANNA and JUST
MY SIZE losing considerable ground. The greyhound JUST MY SIZE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M Even start with the exception of YANCY BALE which was
marginally slow to begin. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight MAYWYN PROMISES and ZABDON LAMBO
collided. Rounding the turn into the
back straight MAYWYN PROMISES was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Leaving the back straight OLD
MOON MADNESS commenced to give ground.
SIRIUS STAR which was trailling was checked as a consequence and lost
ground. The greyhound OLD MOON MADNESS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
fore leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

DANCER, SPRING RECALL, SPRING LAUREN and KAMILAROI DUK were all tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
DODGY DANCER raced wide in the back straight. The greyhound CHULU CHULULU underwent
a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

Shortly after the start FARAHMAC and LIGHTNING WHITE collided. Through the 1st turn SPRING
SHELLEY was tightened for racing room, shifted out and collided with MAYWYN
NOISE resulting in that greyhound to be checked and lose ground. BONKNOCKA BEANS and ASTIN’S WARRIOR which
were racing to the outside of MAYWYNS NOISE were both checked as a result of
this incident and lost ground.
Entering the back straight SPRING SHELLEY was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound BONKNOCKA BEANS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BELLISSIMO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight SHAYLOR CLEDUS
was tightened for racing room and momentarily hampered. |
