GJ WALSH & CO MAIDEN 431M

Even start with the exception of MR. DON which was marginally slow to begin.  Entering the back straight MR. LEO and FROSTY SKY collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  MR. DON gave ground over the concluding stages.

 

The greyhound MR. LEO underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side stifle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

The greyhound MR. DON underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer Mr. K Ollerton that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks prior to nominating.

GENTABLUE PET FOOD MAIDEN 520M

Even start.  Shortly after the start NOVEMBER FLYER and ALISSA’S ANGEL were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight MONLEE was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and collided with ALISSA’S ANGEL resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.  In the back straight SWIFT BARB was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the front straight ALISSA’S ANGEL was tightened for racing room, shifted out and collided with SWIFT BARB resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.

PRATER’S SAINT was best to begin.  Shortly after the start MAMMA’S BOY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight ORBIT THE SUN and SHAKEY SHOW collided.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight ORBIT THE SUN improved onto the heels of TOPAZ TAN and lost ground.  PRATER’S SAINT raced wide over various stages of the race.

CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5th GRADE 431M

Even start.  Shortly after the start GALLANT EXPLORER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Through the 1st turn BIG DIPPA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight MR. BELLISSIMO improved onto the heels of DO THAT PHOEBEE when that greyhound was giving ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight COMPLETE CONTROL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight GALLANT EXPLORER checked across the heels of ROAD CAM and shifted out and collided with COMPLETE CONTROL resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  BIG DIPPA which was racing to the outside of COMPLETE CONTROL was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

 

The greyhound DO THAT PHOEBEE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

ARE YOU THERE was best to begin.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight SPRING SHANAE and SORRENTO collided resulting in SORRENTO to be checked and lose ground.

Even start with the exception of TUBBY TURNER which was marginally slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn PRINCESS IVY, TUBBY TURNER and FARAHMAC were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight BLOZA and SPRING MYSTERY collided resulting in BLOZA to be checked and raced wide.  PRINCESS IVY gave ground over the concluding stages to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field.

 

The greyhound PRINCESS IVY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE FINAL 520M

Even start with the exception of MISS BECKY SAM which was marginally slow to begin.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight MAYWYN PROMISES was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight BINERARY BOY, DAISY RUMBLE, MISS BECKY SAM, SMOKIN’ ALICE and MAYWYN PROMISES were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight PRATER’S ACE commenced to give ground to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field.  SMOKIN’ ALICE which was trailing was checked as a consequence.

 

The greyhound PRATER’S ACE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 3 weeks.

Even start.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight OUTBACK SUNSHINE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after SHOES TO FILL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight NATURAL LAD and DOLLAR AND CENT collided.  Leaving the back straight CHAMPAGNE SALLY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

 

The greyhound SIZEABLE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start.  Through the 1st turn MAYWYN’S COPY, STEP BACK LASS, SENNI LUCILLE, SHAKEY RANDLE and HOPEFUL MISS all raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees with SHAKEY RANDLE losing ground.  Entering the back straight MAYWYN’S COPY and STEP BACK LASS both shifted out which hampered the running of LONESOME HERO and SHAKEY RANDLE.

Even start.  Through the 1st turn ME HAPPY and SHAKEY TANGO were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight BUD’S DELIGHT and WILDASH DIVA collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
