SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M

BLACK KOALA was best to begin with GALWAY BLUEBIRD slow.  Shortly after the start ZABDON MCGREGOR and FARMOR IMPACT bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the 1st turn FARMOR IMPACT clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight VELOCITY RADINKA, FREE PRESS an LOCH ME UP collided causing ZABDON MCGREGOR to be checked and all greyhounds lost ground.

Even start with MR. RALPH and ALISSA’S ANGEL slow.  Shortly after the start HOT and AERONA bumped.  In the 1st turn HOT ,AERONA and VELOCITY ONYX bumped causing VELOCITY ONYX to lose ground.  Entering the back straight MR. RALPH and AERONA collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front straight BONDI GIRL clipped heels and lost ground.  In the front straight AERONA was wide.

PRECIOUS SAL was best to begin.  In the 1st turn IT’S ABOUT TIME and SAIL SURFER collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight SAIL SURFER and IT’S ABOUT TIME collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the front and back straight IT’S ABOUT TIME was wide.

Even start with OUTBACK SUNSHINE marginally slow.  Shortly after the start OPPORTUNE KNOCKA and BOGIE TEEJAY were both tightened for racing room and hampered.  Rounding the turn into the back straight OPPORTUNE KNOCKA clipped heels and lost ground.  Entering the front straight DUSTY’S CHANCE and OUTBACK SUNSHINE collided causing DUSTY’S CHANCE to lose ground.

JOHN YOUNG MEMORIAL HEAT 1 4/5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M

CAKE IT ON was best to begin with SECRETIVE INTENT and SIZEABLE marginally slow.  Shortly after the start SECRETIVE INTENT and SIZEABLE bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the front straight on the 1st occasion SECRETIVE INTENT and DEL REY collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the 1st turn THAT HOUDINI and CAKE IT ON bumped.  Entering the back straight SECRETIVE INTENT and THAT HOUDINI were both tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight SIZEABLE and DEL REY collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Even start.  In the 1st turn PRATER’S SAINT clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight PRATER’S SAINT was wide.  In the back straight PRATER’S SAINT was wide.

JOHN YOUNG MEMORIAL HEAT 1 4/5th GRADE HEAT 3 520M

GIFTED ANGEL was best to begin with CELS EXPRESS slow.  Shortly after the start GIFTED ANGEL and NANTUCKET KAHN bumped causing GIFTED ANGEL to lose ground.  In the 1st turn NANTUCKET KAHN and DOGMATIC collided causing DOGMATIC to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight NANTUCKET KAHN was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  At the same time DOGMATIC and CELS EXPRESS collided causing DOGMATIC to lose ground.

 

The greyhound NANTUCKET KAHN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE FINAL 431M

Even start with BIG SHOW HAWKO slow to begin.  In the 1st turn BELVEDERE BABE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the back straight SPORTFAN clipped heels and was hampered.  Rounding the turn into the home straight BIG SHOW HAWKO shifted out collided with HONEY HORNET causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the front straight HONEY HORNET and NEVER A DOUBT collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

GJ WALSH & CO 5th GRADE 431M

FARMOR PERHAPS, STRUDEL and AILLA were best to begin.  Rounding the 1st turn STRUDEL, AILLA and ME HAPPY collided causing STRUDEL and AILLA to both fall and give not further competitive part in the race.  Entering the back straight BUNDY BUCKS and ME HAPPY collided causing BUNDY BUCKS to lose ground.  Rounding the top turn FARMOR PERHAPS and TIM AND NIEL collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight STAR RISE clipped heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound AILLA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

The greyhound STRUDEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ROAD CAM, GAALLON and RATHNAIT were best to begin.  In the 1st turn WAY BEFORE YOU, ROAD SCHOLAR, GALLON and RATHNAIT collided causing ROAD SCHOLAR and RATHNAIT to lose ground.  Entering the top turn WAY BEFORE YOU clipped heels and was hampered.  Approaching the finishing line ROAD CAM clipped heels and was hampered.
