MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M DORIE’S
PICK and WILLY TOULA were best to begin with DEMON FURY slow. Rounding the 1st turn VELOCITY
DOREEN and WILLY TOULA collided causing VELOCITY DOREEN to lose ground
resulting in GRETA’S GIFT to be checked and lose ground. In the back straight DEMON FURY hit the
running rail and lost ground. Leaving
the top turn DEMON FURY and GRETA’S GIFT collide causing DEMON FURY to shift
out and lose ground. The
greyhound DEMON FURY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT
2 431M Even start with THUG marginally slow. In the 1st
turn all greyhounds except THUG and REEF AND BEEF raced tight causing LILLY
PILLY LASS and BONITA DE KAHN loose ground. Rounding the turn into back
straight THUG and HAPPY MAIL to collide causing lose ground and LOWOOD DUK to be check as a result. In
the top turn ARREBA and VELOCITY HELENA were both tightened for racing room
and hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight VELOCITY HELENA and
ARREBA bumped. In the front straight VELOCITY HELENA and ARREBA collided on
numerous occasions cause both greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound LOWOOD DUK underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound THUG underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

ALPHA 390 FINANCE 5th GRADE 431M Even start.
In the 1st turn IRISH SPICE, SNOW GIRL and HOT and raced tight
causing all greyhounds to be hampered. In the top turn WHO SAID SO and BONDI
GIRL collided causing both to lose ground. In the front and back straight
BITTA BLUE was wide. |

NOVICE 431M RUMBLING JAKE was best to begin with THIS IS LEGIT and
HOME LUCK marginally slow. In the 1st turn HOME LUCK, GOOD DAZE
AHEAD, LA BAMBA,DAD’S THE WORD and TOPAZ TAN all collided causing TOPAZ TAN and LA BAMBA to lose ground. In
the top turn LA BAMBA, TOPAZ TAN and ZAZU’S HEADACHE all raced tight causing
all greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound LA BAMBA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

TYRE REPAIRS 5th GRADE 431M COSMIC CAPERS was best to begin with SUKODU DOLL
slow. Approaching the 1st
turn DANCING SOLO and SUDUKO DOLL collided causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. In the 1st turn
VIKING BUDDY and IT’S DYLLAN collided causing IT’S DYLLAN to be
hampered. Leaving the top turn DO THAT
PHOEBEE and DANCING SOLO both raced tight and were hampered. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 4/5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start with DOGMATIC and CELS EXPRESS marginally
slow. In the 1st turn BETTA
BE RIGHT and CAKE IT ON bumped causing BETTA BE RIGHT to lose ground. Entering the back straight DOGMATIC clipped
heels and was hampered. Entering the
top turn BITTEN BYE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. The greyhound DOGMATIC underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questions the
connections of this greyhound where they stated that the greyhound ran up to
the expectation and that they had not supported the greyhound. The greyhound BITTEN BYE underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned license
trainer Mr Andrew Monaghan which stated that the greyhound had trialled
average but had limited experience on the track. He also stated that he had
not supported the greyhound. |

Shortly after the start SHAKEY START was tightened for racing room and
lost ground. In the 1st
turn HITCHIKER DUDE shifted out colliding with VIKING WHITE causing both
greyhounds to run wide and lose ground.
At the same time PENDITA and LOGAN CITY collided causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. In the back
straight MAYWYN REWARDS shifted out forcing HITCHIKER DUDE wide and both
greyhounds were hampered. In the home
straight FLASH VENTURE clipped heels and was hampered. |

causing both greyhounds to be hampered. |

and SAIL SURFER bumped causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight
SPRING ELLIE, SAIL SURFER and SPRING AUDREY all collided causing all
greyhounds to lose significant ground. The greyhound SAIL SURFER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

NINPIN, ROI LEAR KAHN and SNOWBALL OTTO all raced tight causing all
greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding
the turn into the back straight GITCHA ALLEY clipped heels and lost ground. Approaching the top turn NINPIN was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.
In the home straight SPRING ROY and SWARAVSKI bumped causing both
greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound GITCHA ALLEY underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
