FROSTY VANE was best to begin, BONITA DE KAHN was noticeably slow.  Approaching the 1st turn MINNIE BLUE and VELOCITY DELFINA checked causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  FROSTY VANE raced wide in the back straight.  Approaching the top turn ROSDUE BARRISTA checked off the heels of MULROONEY and lost ground.  Leaving the turn into the front straight MINNIE BLUE stumbled then shifted out losing ground as a result.

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 431M

JETTA KNIGHT was best to begin.  MR. LEO was marginally slow.  MR. LEO and THANKING PETER came together and checked shortly after the start causing MR LEO to become unbalanced and shift out checking EXPECT LESS as it did. Approaching the 1st turn BOSSY MISS BELLA shifted in and impeded SIN CITY KITTY which then checked off the heels of BOSSY MISS BELLA and lost ground.

EBONNIE was best to begin.  ATTILA was slow.  FROSTY BLACK JAY, LA QUINTA and KRANKY raced tight after the start.  Leaving the 1st turn ATTILA checked off heels and lost ground.  In the back straight ROSDUE LIVE WIRE checked off heels and lost ground.  Leaving the turn into the front straight KRANKY was momentarily impeded behind LA QUINTA.

ALPHA 390 FINANCE NOVICE 431M

GITCHA HUMMIN’ and SPRING GARY were best to begin.  VIENNA CALLING and THUNDER OF FIRE were both marginally slow.  Leaving the turn into the back straight CAKE ALL ROUND checked off the heels of MIDNIGHT TO ONE causing it to become unbalanced and lose ground.  Approaching the top turn VIENNA CALLING shifted in and made contact to the running rail causing it to drop back through the field and lose ground.  Shortly after VIENNA CALLING checked off the heels of BRASS ROAD and lost considerable ground.  THUNDER OF FIRE was tightened for racing room leaving the turn into the front straight.

 

The greyhound VIENNA CALLING underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound THUNDER OF FIRE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

VELOCITY ZARIN was best to begin.  ARABIAN GO DANI, SPRING BENNY and VIKING BUDDY were all marginally slow.  Approaching the 1st turn VIKING BUDDY and ARABIAN GO DANI checked causing VIKING BUDDY to lose ground.  Shortly after ARABIAN GO DANI checked off heels and lost ground.  VIKING BUDDY who was trailing was inconvenienced and dropped out of the race thereafter.  Through the turn into the front straight SNOWBALL OTTO stumbled and became unbalanced causing it to lose ground.

 

The greyhound VIKING BUDDY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the stomach muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS 4/5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M

SWEET KARMAR was best to begin.  MAYWYN’S COPY was slow.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight BONKNOCKA LASS, DISCO DOLLY, GIFTED ANGEL and POET SOCIETY were all tightened for racing room and lost ground to differing degrees.  Leaving the turn into the back straight MAYWYN’S COPY checked off heels and lost ground.  SWIFT NIMROD raced wide in the front straight.

 

The greyhound BONKNOCKA LASS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound POET SOCIETY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

STROGANOFF was best to begin.  PORT LISA was noticeably slow away.  At the 1st turn MY GLORIOUS GAL was tightened for racing room and checked.  MAYWYNS NOISE and DREAM BLASTER who were trailing collided with MY GLORIOUS GAL causing all greyhounds to lose significant ground.  Leaving the turn into the front straight MAYWYNS NOISE was momentarily impeded behind MAYWYN REWARDS causing it to race wide as a result.

BUTCHER CO BEST 8 431M

ROAD TO FLAME and COOL VANE were best to begin.  LIGHTNING WHITE and OUTBACK SUNSHINE were marginally slow.  Leaving the turn into the back straight BUNING OAK and LIGHTNING WHITE raced tight and checked.  Approaching the top turn LIGHTNING WHITE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  ROSDUE SPRITE who was trailing collided into LIGHTNING WHITE causing it to lose significant ground.

 

The greyhound ROSDUE SPRITE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ROAD CAM was best to begin.  WAYCOL BILL was slow.  Approaching the 1st turn the majority of the field with the exception of ROAD CAM and WAYCOL BILL were tightened for racing room with SPORTFAN and ALLPA MAMA being checked and losing ground.  Leaving the turn into the back straight CHIPS AHOY stumbled and became unbalanced losing ground.  WAYCOL BILL raced wide in the back straight.  Approaching the top turn CHIPS AHOY was tightened for racing room and became unbalanced losing ground as a result.  Leaving the turn into the front straight CHIPS AHOY became unbalanced and lost ground.

 

The greyhound CHIPS AHOY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 431M

BARNEY’S BOUNTY and BUD’S DELIGHT were best to begin.  LAZZA MANAZZA was extremely slow to begin and took no further competitive part in the race thereafter.  In the back straight LITTLE DOTTY TOO was tightened for racing room and shifted out checking VELOCITY RADINKA causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Shortly after MIGHTY NIMROD shortened stride and dropped out of the race taking no further competitive part in the race.

 

The greyhound MIGHTY NIMROD underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

The greyhound LAZZA MANAZZA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the stomach muscles and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

The greyhound VELOCITY RADINKA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
