The greyhound, AMAZON PRINCESS, performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 288, in the

time of 17.24, and is now cleared to race all tracks.

TURBO ROY was clearly best to begin.  LAURASH ACTION was slow.  In the 1st turn, LAURASH ACTION was tightened for racing room and made contact with the running rail, losing ground as a result.  Approaching the turn into the front straight, MAGIX MALT was momentarily impeded and became unbalanced. 

 

The greyhound LAURASH ACTION underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2.

SKY RACING MAIDEN – 431M

BLUE GIRL BLUE and NOT TOO BOSSY were best to begin.  FANCY A BOHERNA was slow.  ROSDUE BARISTA, FROSTY BLACK JAY, SPRING COLLEEN and DECADENT ENOUGH raced tight approaching the 1st turn, with FROSTY BLACK JAY tightened for racing room and losing considerable ground.  Leaving the turn into the back straight, ROSDUE BARISTA and BLUE GIRL BLUE raced tight and shifted out, causing BLUE GIRL BLUE to stumble and lose ground.  PHANTOM ROAD and NOT TOO BOSSY, which were trailing, caused those greyhounds were to be substantially impeded causing them to lose significant ground.  Shortly after, FROST BLACK JAY checked into BLUE GIRL BLUE, causing both greyhounds to lose ground as a result. 

 

The greyhound PHANTOM GIRL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

GREYHOUND_DATA.COM NOVICE – 431M

IRON MAID was best to begin.  ROSDUE LEON was slow.  Approaching the top turn, ROSDUE LEON deviated towards, and made muzzle contact, with HEY HEY HAYLEY, causing both greyhounds to lose momentum and ground as a result.  SHARHELIAN STAR and FEAR BETTY which were trailing, were impeded as a result and lost ground.  LOOKIN’ SWIRL raced wide at the top turn and into the remainder of the race thereafter.

 

The greyhound HEY HEY HAYLEYunderwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards advised trainer, Terrence Chapman, that the greyhound ROSDUE LEON would be charged under Rule 69, Marring 1st offence, 28 days + satisfactory stewards’ trial, 431m all tracks.

BARNEY’S BOUNTY was best to begin.  TINY TURBO, FROSTY BEJAY and PYRO BOB were marginally slow.  Approaching the 1st turn, the majority of the field raced tight and checked, with all greyhounds losing ground at varying degrees.  Leaving the turn into the back straight, DOUBLE SWATZA, checked off heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound FROSTY BEJAY underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 431M

NATTY’S ON FIRE was marginally slow to begin.  NEXT, NATTY’S ON FIRE, ZAHARA DYE and MISS OSPREY raced tight and bumped, approaching the 1st turn.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, NEXT checked off heels and fell, taking no further competitive part in the race thereafter.  ZAHARA DYE raced wide into the back straight, and for the length of the back straight.  ZAHARA DYE raced wide at the top turn, and for the remainder of the race thereafter.  Leaving the turn into the front straight, MASTER DEAN shifted out and checked into LUCKMAN, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound NEXT underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

THE START OF RACE WAS DELAYED BY APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES TO ALLOW TIME FOR A HORSE RACE TO FINISH.

Even start.  At the 1st turn, MISS AMELIA, SENOR’S HEIR and SPORTFAN raced tight, resulting in SENOR’S HEIR to become unbalanced.  SPORTFAN, which was trailing, collided into SENOR’S HEIR, causing SENOR’S HEIR and SPORTFAN to fall and VELOCITY DELFINA, which was trailing, to be severely impeded and those greyhounds to take no further competitive part in the race thereafter.  Leaving the turn into the back straight, DRAGON BORN checked off heels and lost ground.  At the top turn, DRAGON BORN proved onto the hindquarters of MISS AMELIA, causing both greyhounds to lose ground as a result.

 

The greyhound SPORTFAN underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound VELOCITY DELFINA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SENOR’S HEIR underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 – 431M

Even start. General tightening to the entire field at the 1st turn, resulted in SPRING IVAN and VEGAS BOY to be checked and lose ground.  Leaving the turn into the front straight, VEGAS BOY was momentarily impeded.  Shortly after, SWIFT NIMROD shifted out, resulting in REBEL KENNELLY to be impeded and raced wide, and continue wide, for the remainder of the race.

ACTUALIZE was best to begin.  MY NAMES SANDY and SPRING REINA checked approaching the 1st turn, causing SPRING REINA to become unbalanced.  Shortly after, MAN OF LEISURE improved onto the hindquarters of NIGHT TIME LOVER, causing NIGHT TIME LOVER to become severely unbalanced and lose significant ground.  MY NAMES SANDY and SPRING REINA, which were trailing, were severely impeded and lost substantial ground as a result.

 

The greyhound SPRING REINA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound NIGHT TIME LOVER underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the back (strain)  and was stood down for a period of 7 days

GJ WALSH & CO MIXED 3/4 – 431M

IMA NECROMANCER was best to begin.  ALL ABOUT TIGER was slow.  Leaving the back straight, ROSDUE SPRITE commenced to yield ground and took no further competitive part in the race.  INNER WISEDOM raced wide into the turn into the back straight.  Approaching the turn into the front straight, ALL ABOUT TIGER and COSMIC LAPTOP raced tight and checked.  Leaving the turn into the front straight, JIGGLE SPLAT stumbled and became unbalanced. 

 

The greyhound ROSDUE SPRITE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days

SHORT SESSION was best to begin.  At the 1st turn, NEDGO PRINCESS was tightened for racing, checked and lost ground.  MULROONEY raced wide through the back straight.  SHORT SESSION and WHIPPY MIDGET bumped leaving the turn into the front straight.  Shortly after, YOU JANE shifted out and checked into NEDGO PRINCESS, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

 

The greyhound SHORT SESSION underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
