Race 1 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 431M

 

Best away was RUSSIAN ROULETTE, with I’M HERE slowly away.  Soon after the start, MAGICAL SHOW and LAURASH ACTION collide, causing LAURASH ACTION to check RUSSIAN ROULETTE.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, TUTA BRYAN and ROSIE GAZE collide.  Entering the back straight, MAGICAL SHOW checked off the heels of EMMA SAID, causing MAGICAL SHOW to drop back.  In the back straight and home straight, TUTA BRYAN was wide.

 

The greyhound MAGICAL SHOW underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 431M

 

Best away was FROSTY BLACK JAY and CHANCE ME BRO, with the rest evenly away.  Soon after the start, REBEL’S FORCE, FROSTY BLACK JAY, CHANCE ME BRO and RINGBARK AMY all collide.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, EARTH SHAKE checked off the heels of TUTA SINGLE ONE, causing EARTH SHAKE to race wide.  Entering the back straight, REBEL’S FORCE checked off the heels of ALPHA HESTIA, causing REBEL’S FORCE to shift out checking TUTA SINGLE ONE.  In the back straight and home straight, EARTH SHAKE was wide.

 

The greyhound REBEL’S FORCE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off fore leg and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 3 - WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM NOVICE (1) – 431M

 

Best away was ALPHA ATLAS, with MONTRACHET slowly away.  Entering the back straight, WAZZA QUEEN, MONTRACHET and ROSDUE BARISTA all collide.  In the back straight, ROSDUE BARISTA was wide.  In the home straight, LITTLE LUCK was wide.

 

Race 4 – ALPHA 390 FINANCE NOVICE (2) – 431M

 

The race was delayed due to the green light, which is the starting signal, did not activate.  Greyhounds were taken out and re-examined by the veterinary surgeon.  The start was a “hand start”.

 

Best away was LUCKY LECKEY and RINGBARK BELLA, with the rest evenly away.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, CLEO NOT CHLOE and ROSDUE KIRRA collide.  In the back straight, DAVE THE RAVE and CLEO NOT CHLOE raced wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, DAVE THE RAVE and CLEO NOT CHLOE collide.  In the home straight, DAVE THE RAVE was wide.

Best away was MAMMA’S BOY and SMOKIN’ ALICE, with TIGGY BUZZARD and CHIPPIES slowly away.  Entering the turn into the home straight, TIGGY BUZZARD and MAMMA’S BOY collide, causing TIGGY BUZZARD to shift out checking SPRING LEMON.  In the back straight, CHIPPIES was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, TIGGY BUZZARD and PARIS QUEEN collide.  On the top turn, TIGGY BUZZARD and MAMMA’S BOY collide.  In the home straight, CHIPPIES was wide.

Race 6 – JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 431M

Best away was WILDASH NITRO, with GRETA’S GIFT slowly away.  Entering the turn into the back straight, DOUBLE OAK and LA BAMBA collide, causing LA BAMBA to shift out checking SPRING BENNY.  In the back straight, LA BAMBA was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, DOUBLE OAK and GRETA’S GIFT collide, causing GRETA’S GIFT to drop to the rear.  In the home straight, STRUDEL was wide.

Best away was SURFBOARD and SNOWBALL OTTO, with GET MESSI slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight, TOPAZ TAN was wide.  In the back straight, TOPAZ TAN was wide.  On the top turn, MR. TERRIFIC and TOPAZ TAN collide.  In the home straight, MR. TERRIFIC was wide.

 

The greyhound GET MESSI underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MR. TERRIFIC underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 8 – GJ WALSH & CO MIXED 2/3RD GRADE – 431M

 

Best away was LOBCHA, ROAD TO FLAME and ELLY BYE BYE, with ASTIN’S WARRIOR slowly away.  Entering the back straight, LOBCHA, ROAD TO FLAME and ELLY BYE BYE all collide.  In the home straight, ASTIN’S WARRIOR was wide.

Best away was WERINA MAGIC, with SPANISH HARBOUR and ENZO JAZZ slowly away.  Entering the back straight, DODGY ETHAN shifted out checking SPANISH HARBOUR, WERINA MAGIC and ENZO JAZZ.  In the back straight, SPRING SHELLEY was wide.  On the top turn, DODGY ETHAN and ENZO JAZZ collide.  In the home straight, WERINA MAGIC turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with SIMPLY MAGIC.

Connection to the greyhound WERINA MAGIC was advised that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd Offence.  Greyhound to be stood down for a period of 3 months and will be required to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial prior to racing.

 

Race 10 – SKY RACING 5PW – 431M

 

Best away was STAR RISE, with WONDERLAND slowly away.  Soon after the start, BELLEEK and GOT THERE collide.  Entering the back straight, FARMOR SUSPENSE and WONDERLAND collide.  In the back straight, WONDERLAND was wide.  In the home straight, HAD BETTER DAZE was wide.

 

The greyhound WONDERLAND underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Connection to the greyhound WONDERLAND was advised that the greyhound would be charged under
