VETERINARY EXAMINATIONS

The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

Race 1 – Maiden 407m

Shortly after the start LIL’ BLUE shifted in and checked HELLO MOLLY causing HELLO MOLLY to lose ground. Near the catching pen LIL’ BLUE shifted out and checked SET TO SCORE. In the back straight LIL’ BLUE shifted out and crossed MADAM SECRETARY. LIL’ BLUE and HELLO MOLLY bumped twice in the home straight. MISS RADRADRA raced wide throughout the race.

Race 2 – Maiden Final 407m

FITZROY RISING and OH THE SHAME were slow to begin. Near the catching pen EXTREME LEVEL shifted out and checked MISS SALLY FITZ. Near the 630m boxes FITZROY RISING shifted out and checked EXTREME LEVEL. On the home turn PURPLE MIST shifted out and bumped FITZROY RISING.

EXTREME LEVEL was vet checked and no apparent injury was found.

Race 3 – Novice 407m

STARS ALIGN and OVERDRIVE SPEED were slow to begin. Near the catching pen OVERDRIVE SPEED shifted out and checked DIXIE FERNANDO. Near the 630m boxes SUPERSONIC SHAK checked off the heels of GENTLE JOAN then shifted out and checked TARAWI MAX. JUSTINE BENZ raced wide throughout the race.

Race 4 – Mixed 510m

No race due to boxes opening slow and failed to open fully.

Race 5 – 5^th Grade 407m

TARAWI GRACE, SWEET WILLOW and ETHICAL STANDARD were all slow to begin. Near the 630m boxes SWEET WILLOW shifted in and checked SHAYLOR CHASE. KYAMMY raced wide throughout the race.

Race 6 – 5^th Grade 407m

TRADE IN and KELLY BENZ were slow to begin. In the back straight TRADE IN shifted out and checked KELLY BENZ. LACK OF PATIENCE and KOTA LIZ both raced wide throughout the race.

Race 7 – 4/5^th Grade 407m

SALT LAKE CITY and TRUE MAGIC were slow to begin. Near the catching pen SALT LAKE CITY shifted out and checked TARAWI APRIL causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Race 8 – Best 8 407m

PLAY RITE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start COSMIC EYE shifted out and checked MADE TO ORDER causing MADE TO ORDER to lose ground. MADE TO ORDER raced wide throughout the race.

Race 9 – 5^th Grade 407m

OLD CROONER was slow to begin. RED GUN raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race. ROCK THE CASBOLT raced wide on the first turn.

Race 10 – 5^th Grade 431m

SATIN IDOL and MARINA’S DOLL were slow to begin. DACKENBAH ROAD checked off the heels of BIG TEE SAL in the back straight causing both greyhounds to lose ground. SATIN IDOL raced wide for the second half of the race.
