VETERINARY EXAMINATIONS

The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 10 RODEO CLOWN Injured in running, near side shoulder, 21 days

GENERAL

Race 1 – Maiden 407m

Clean start. Near the catching pen FARMOR EL DORADO shifted in and checked CHIEF RED CLOUD. CHIEF RED CLOUD then shifted out and checked TIME FOR CHANGE. In the back straight FRED MIGGINS checked off the heels of SHEZ ALL LEGAL and lost ground. FARMOR EL DORADO raced wide throughout the race.

Race 2 – Maiden 407m

LIL’ BLUE and RENA FERNANDO were slow to begin. Shortly after the start HEZ ALL STYLE shifted out and checked IMA RIPPA. RENA FERNANDO raced wide from the 630m boxes.

Race 3 – Novice 407m

DIXIE FERNANDO was slow to begin. In the back straight LAKODA MAGIC raced onto the back of RED GUN causing LAKODA MAGIC to fall. BRAX FERNANDO raced wide throughout the race.

LAKODA MAGIC was vet checked and was found to have sustained a lumber muscle injury and was suspended for a period of 14 days.

Race 4 – 4/5^th Grade 510m

Clean start. Shortly after the start SALT LAKE CITY shifted out and crossed BOGART BLEND. SWEET WILLOW shifted out and crossed VELOCITY BREEZE. SALT LAKE CITY raced wide throughout the race.

Race 5 – 3/4^th Grade 407m

Clean start. FARMOR SUPPORT shifted in and checked VALENTINE RAY. GUNSPEED raced wide throughout the race.

Race 6 – 5^th Grade Heat 1 407m

FARMOR SENORITA was slow to begin. Shortly after the start DIVA MACARENA shifted out wide and checked DACKENBAH ROAD. DIVA MACARENA and FARMOR SENORITA raced wide throughout the race.

Race 7 – 5^th Grade Heat 2 407m

ROCKY BINGO and OUTLAW CHARLIE were slow to begin. Shortly after the start VELOCITY PEARL shifted in and checked MARINA’S PRINCE. Near the catching pen PAR DE FIR shifted out and checked OUTLAW CHARLIE causing both greyhounds to lose ground. BLACK MODEL raced wide throughout the race.

Race 8 – 5^th Grade Heat 3 407m

FARMOR POCO’S was slow to begin. Shortly after the start FIVE FAT LADIES shifted out and caused interference to MARINA’S DOLL, STAR ROSA and FINE PERFORMER. FIVE FAT LADIES shifted out twice in the home straight and checked FINE PERFORMER.

FIVE FAT LADIES was vet checked but no apparent injury was found.

Race 9 – 5^th Grade Heat 4 407m

TRIGGER was slow to begin. On the home turn SHAYLOR TAMMY and FARMOR ELECTRIC checked causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Race 10 – 5^th Grade Heat 5 407m

LAKODA LOCHIE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start OVERDRIVE SPEED shifted out wide forcing FITZROY RISING wide on the track. RODEO CLOWN began to lose ground in the back straight and finished the race tailed off. OVERDRIVE SPEED raced onto the back of FARMOR CONFUSION causing both greyhounds to lose ground. FITZROY RISING raced wide throughout the race.

RODEO CLOWN was vet checked and was found to have sustained a near side shoulder injury and was suspended for a period of 21 days.
