RQ MAIDEN 1000 ROK FINAL – 407M

 

Due to weather conditions, stewards, in consultation with the club, put all races back one race with Race 10 to start at the time of 10:16pm to allow time for repairs to be made to a section of the back straight.

 

Even start with LIGHTNING FLASH and PAWTICIPATION being slow away.

Rounding the first turn MASTER CARD was hampered.

PAWTICIPATION raced wide in the back straight and home straight.

Leaving the back straight FIESTY SENORITA checked when tightened by another running.

Leaving the back straight LIGHTNING FLASH and STILTED CHATTER checked to avoid the heels of another greyhound and lost ground.

 

The greyhound FIESTY SENORITA was sent for a post-race veterinary examination. No abnormalities were found.

Rounding the first turn WICKED TAY was hampered and lost ground.

Rounding the first turn LIKA HARRIET was hampered and lost ground.

Entering the back straight ESOTERIC was tightened and lost ground.

Entering the back straight LIKA PEREGRIN was heavily bumped by another runner and lost ground.

REGIS MOMENT, CHARLM MISS, BETTTA BE BUNDY and JIMMY’S REWARD were hampered shortly after the start.

 

The greyhounds REGIS MOMENT and CHARLM MISS were sent for a post-race veterinary examination. REGIS MOMENT was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hind foot and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. CHARLM MISS was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hind leg and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.

COLLUSION, VISION OF LOVE and VOLKEY were all hampered and lost ground shortly after the start.

 

The greyhound SINCERELY was sent for a post-race veterinary examination. SINCERELY was found to have suffered an injury to both hind legs and was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days.

Even start with NOT TODAY MATE being slow into stride.

SPRING AUDREY and ADHARA BAY were hampered shortly after the start and lost ground.

Leaving the back straight MOHICAN LAD was tightened and lost ground.

Leaving the home turn ADHARA BAY was bumped heavily when another runner shifted out abruptly.

SANDAL WELDING 4TH GRADE – 407M

 

Even start with MY KIDS TUITION being slow away.

Shortly after the start CABELLO MUCHO was tightened and bumped heavily resulting in the greyhound to nearly fall and lose significant ground. CABELLO MUCHO finished the race well back.

MY AWESOME MAGIC was tightened and lost ground shortly after the start.

MY KIDS TUITION was hampered shortly after the start and lost ground.

MY KIDS TUITION was hampered early in the back straight and lost ground.

 

The greyhounds CABELLOW MUCHO and MY KIDS TUITION were sent for a post-race veterinary examination. CABELLO MUCHO was found to have suffered an injury to the near side fore shoulder and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days. MY KIDS TUITION was found to have suffered an injury to the near side hind foot and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days.

Shortly after the start MAGIC BENZ bumped heavily with PROSPECT resulting in PROSPECT losing ground.

Shortly after the start OLLIE HARKS and CHANDON HAWKE were tightened and both lost ground.

Rounding the home turn MON MANNY BEACH was tightened and lost ground.

 

The greyhound OLLIE HARKS was sent for a post-race veterinary examination. OLLIE HARKS was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hind leg and was stood down from racing for a period of 21 days.
