Race Reports

 

Race 1 – SANDAL WELDING MAIDEN – 407M

 

SENORITA FIESTA was slow to begin.

Leaving the first turn ARE JAY JARE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

The greyhound ARE JAY JARE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained I an injury to the off side fore wrist and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 2 – ADOPT A GREYHOUND NOVICE – 407M

 

STILTED CHATTER, VELOCITY KYINKA and FIESTY SENORITA were all marginally slow to begin.

Shortly after the start FASHION FLIRT, PAWTICIPATION, STILTED CHATTER and VELOCITY KYINKA were all racing in restricted room and hampered resulting in all greyhounds losing ground to differing degrees.

 

Race 3 – WENDY MULRY TRAVEL 5TH GRADE (1) – 407M

 

URANA LAURIE and HALBER TAG were slow to begin.

Shortly after the start MR MICKEY and CRACKERJACK RUBY were hampered and both lost ground.

 

The greyhound MR MICKEY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hind upper leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 4 – ACCELL THERAPY MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 407M

 

DOWNHILL, BONITTO and ASICLAO were slow to begin.

Shortly after the start SNAP ONE OFF and FANTASIA LEE were hampered and lost ground to differing degrees.

Leaving the first turn LINRICK shifted out abruptly and made heavy contact with DOWNHILL resulting in DOWNHILL falling and ASICLAO being hampered and losing ground. DOWNHILL finished the race well back.

LINRICK raced wide through the home turn and down the home straight.

 

The greyhound DOWNHILL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound ASICLAO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hind upper leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 5 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND 4TH GRADE - 407M

 

Best to begin was HAY BONUS.

BOKARM LEO was slow to begin.

Leaving the first turn ROMAN SAND was hampered and lost ground.

BOKARM LEO raced wide in the back straight and for the remainder.

 

The greyhound HAY BONUS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 510M

 

LORDE CERINE was marginally slow to begin.

Shortly after the start FARINGDON and DANCE WITH WOLF bumped on a number of occasions.

Entering the first turn RED JAMIE was carried wide on the track by FARINGDON.

 

Race 7 – RQ YOUNG GUNS ROK OPEN FINAL – 407M

 

OPPORTUNITY SIX and VINCERO were slow to begin.

Leaving the first turn ARE JAY LOCHIE was tightened or room and lost ground.

Leaving the first turn OPPORTUNITY SIX was hampered when avoiding ARE JAY LOCHIE.

 

Race 8 – DIPLOCK COLLISION REPAIRS BEST 8 – 407M

 

DREAM BIGGER and COPYIST were slow to begin.

Shortly after the start DREAM BIGGER was severely hampered and lost ground.

 

Race 9 – PATLAW SECURITIES 5TH GRADE (2) – 407M

 

Even start.

Shortly after the start LOUIE VEE, LOLLYHARKS and SPEED ACTION were all racing in restricted room and tightened resulting in all greyhounds losing ground to differing degrees.

FIVE FORTY and MOHICAN LAD raced wide in the back straight.

MOHICAN LAD commenced to give ground upon entering the home turn and finished the race well back.

 

The greyhound MOHICAN LAD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON RD MA5 – 407M

 

MYSTERIOUS ROSE, FLAMENCO GIRL and WISSUTA RULES were slow to begin.

Leaving the first turn ADHARA BAY was hampered and lost ground.
