Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN 407m

Earn Silk – (Beaten favourite 6^th) Checked twice around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 – TAB NOVICE 407m

Reggie Riesling – (Beaten favourite 6^th) Severely checked around the first turn. Checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Yogi’s Menace – Severely checked around the first turn. Checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 3 - SKY RACING MA5 407m

Zipping Everest – Severely checked racing into the first turn and appeared to hit the running rail soon after. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery, no stand down was issued.

Crème De Monte – Appeared to ease racing in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor spike wound to the right hind leg, however no stand down was issued. Stewards inquired into the racing manners of the greyhound in the back straight and after considering the available replays, submissions from trainer P Sear and acting on their own observations, stewards were satisfied that Crème De Monte had eased visibly in the back straight and therefore not pursued the lure with due commitment throughout. In accordance with GAR124 the greyhound was stood down for 3 months at all tracks and until the completion of 2 satisfactory trials for a third offence.

Race 5 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE MIXED 3/4 407m

Grande Bahama – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a lumbar back strain and a 10 day stand down was issued.

Rolls Ripple – Severely checked racing off the back straight and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right bicep strain and a 10 day stand down was issued.

Race 6 - ROCKHAMPTON WILDCARD HEAT 1 OPEN 510m

Sir Banjo – Severely checked rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 7 - ROCKHAMPTON WILDCARD HEAT 2 OPEN 510m

Race 9 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 4 407m

Gilded – Trainer N Jackson was reprimanded under GAR101(3)(b) for presenting Gilded to race with a weight variation in excess of 1kg. In accessing penalty stewards considered the trainers clear record of more than 15 months and his guilty plea.

Barcelona Boy – Put in an awkward stride in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed right hip strain and a 10 day stand down was issued.

Phantom Star – checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed right front wrist sprain and was stood down for 10 days.

Race 10 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 4 407m

No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 11 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL GRADE 5 (2) 407m

Gallifrey – Appeared to falter in its action racing into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right hip support strain and a 21 day stand down was issued.
