Due to circumstances where the lure driver was unavailable after race 8 all remaining races were abandoned as there was no person suitably qualified to perform the role.

Race 1 - LIFE MEMBERS HEAT 1 MAIDEN 407m

Wise Men Listen – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn and failed to complete the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a significant fracture to left foreleg and the greyhound was euthanised on humane grounds.

Race 2 - LIFE MEMBERS HEAT 2 MAIDEN 407m

Crosshairs – (Beaten favourite 8^th) Checked racing into the back straight. Checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Tijuana Two Step – Deviated its attention away from the lure in the home straight, turned its head outwards and shifted out towards Such A Life. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound in the home straight and after considering submissions from trainer K Boody, viewing the available replays and their own observations, stewards were of the opinion that Tijuana Two Step had failed to pursue the lure with due commitment in the home straight and the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days at Rockhampton and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a first offence.

Lightning Buzz – Faltered in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a significant injury to the right hind leg and a 60 day stand down was issued. The greyhound must also complete a satisfactory trial before resuming racing.

Race 8 - ROCKHAMPTON WILDCARD FINAL OPEN 510m

Mr Takeover – Faltered soon after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a tear in the right hind hamstring and a 28 day stand down was issued and the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial before resuming racing.

Who’s Billy – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
